This is an easy response:
-Those things are stupid internet threats, seen them millions of times they mean nothing.
-Ron Toye has been proven by the court of law to be an abusive piece of shit. Like not hearsay or anything, actually proven with evidence to be an abuser, twice, to the people who are in the same position you are, Monica.

Oh well, she'll be kicking herself in a few years when Ron starts smacking her around. It'll be her fault at that point.

It was never about the women. It was never about protecting people. It was always political and now they're scrambling because they're losing the narrative. It's no longer industry veterans vs ebil homophobic rapist, it's woman beater and his degenerate friends vs simply another victim of Ron Toye's fury.

Let's be real here fam, Soye isn't a wife beater. I'll believe that he regularly loses his shit to the point where he threatens to kill people and dogs, but talk is cheap. That just makes him a raging manlet who puts the 'impotent' in 'impotent rage'.

Emotional abuse, sure, lots of it. His wife is way better off without him, and there's basically no chance that his relationship with the Josts isn't/wasn't incredibly fucked up in some way we don't know the specifics of yet.

But if he was an actual wife beater, his ex wouldn't have needed to reach for 'he poked me with a remote once' in her affidavit. That's textbook female divorce padding.

(Of course the court found it credible - they do it because it works)

It's truly appalling. These people are so convinced of their entire narrative they will ignore a clear domestic abuser and dismiss his exes claims because "they're liars". Why? Because they're right and Vic is wrong! It seems less like a movement and more like a cult...

Rules for thee, but not for me. What you are witnessing is cult behavior in its purest, most distilled form. Keep in mind that these folks stay very insulated, whether it's a country club, or a discord. There are behavioral expectations among the hive. To deviate is to risk being ostracized. The cognitive dissonance you are witnessing now is an essential function among the hive - a coping mechanism. Whether Soye is actually better, or not, is immaterial. What is tantamount is that the hive stay on course. They will gaslight, misdirect, excuse. And they all have to fall in line, lest they expose themselves as blasphemers.

edit: Also keep in mind that it's likely all of these people have dirt on each other, so not only are they motivated by fear of being ostracized, they are also motivated by fear of being exposed by their "friends" if they deviate.
