I believe it's an auto-block third-party plugin of sorts that blocks people who follow or interact with others they've blocked.

Sometimes. And then other times they openly brag about, say just earlier today, "blocking 300 people today."

Work they smart, or work they hard, the inescapable conclusion is they're autistic, lonely, and sad. And worse yet: they're on Twitter all day because it is unironically the best part of their day.

Not that surprised! Given Twitter now update the site saying "The person who's tweet you are trying to see has you blocked." Really makes you think how many KickVic folks use Twitter bots not because they are scared of harassers but also hide something behind their twitter timeline. We should also see how many people use twitter bots based on which kind of Twitter bots they used. I know of the infamous GamerGate Twitter block list. But I don't know if there are others that do it better than that.

Question is, why would FUNimation keep this shit around? I thought they were an inclusive company who doesn't condone homophobia! It does have some relevance to the lawsuit however, it's just another one of the many examples of the work enviroment at FUNimation.
