I found it particularly hilarious that the reason he beat one of them was she got an almost-lethal botched abortion without telling him first. Not hilarious that it happened, but because that's his excuse:

Well if that was their second child, why did she get an abortion but not tell him? It fucking sucks she almost died from the procedure, but that's a suspicious decision and no one was asking the right questions leading to her almost dying.

He said he was angry that she didn't tell him about why it is she got it, which makes him suspect an affair, but his first response was to beat her. Well, consider this: What if she got an abortion so she could avoid having a miscarriage in front of him after confessing to her affair because she didn't trust Ron to keep his cool and not hit her?
