It would be extra exceptional to even try it when Ty tweeted out that there were technical issues BEFORE the deadline. Which means it will probably happen.

The supportive fan emails he has received since all of this (over 3K of them) have helped him tremendously through this. I know that he appreciates each one. Swap out the contents of the glass for say, cow juice, and you've got a winner. :) Sending him fanart that has...questionable content? Might wanna rethink that plan.

Notably, many of the fan emails he's received have contained stories about how Vic changed their minds about suicide or cutting, etc. I've read so many of them myself.

It's not like he gave away a laptop or anything though, let's not get nuts

I'm thinking that is not what is going on here. The whole release of the audio was for a different purpose. KV has started doubling down by engaging national press and using the court case to double down into the defamation. This move was entirely for the court case not to feed the public discussion on the issue or cancel culture. From the court case perspective this helps Vic's case. It establishes the atmonsphere at his workplace as less than prim and proper. Making a 'I ate ...' joke seems less offensive. Also makes it easier to say Funi is applying a double standard.

The cancel culture effect is collateral damage. OTOH they are not all innocent bystanders. A few are actively involved. A few have weighed in against Vic from their 'high horses'. I do feel bad for the ones that did neither. I haven't been keeping score on who had or hadn't.

Anyway, I think Nick did this for the court case. Like KV is trying to leverage the larger press to eventually create a pressure on the judge to go against Vic.

I think it's interesting to think about the amount of people who have overcome struggles because of Vic are now there doing something similar for him in the sense of supporting him through all of this. I really think it's humbling and remarkable to have it come full circle. I'm really happy to know that.

But that last sentence :story:
