I think it's pointless to focus on a lawsuit or criminal charges or somehow punishing Zoe legally for accusing Alec of these crimes, BUT...

Patricia Hernandez, writer for Kotaku, claims to have received text messages many years ago in which Zoe made the claims of abuse. I feel like a lawyer could make a really good case (in an American court) for compelling her to produce those texts, as an inability to do so would point towards some sort of conspiracy to destroy his reputation. If she CAN produce them, that means that either Zoe decided many years ago to plant the seeds for the #metoo and deceived Patricia or that the allegations are probably based in truth. If nothing else, it's something people should talk about so that her hands aren't clean here until she can prove that they are.
