Once again: This is a thread for laughing at bitter incel lolcows, not being them.

Or debating them.

Sorry. I've known too many people with "physics degrees" or who are computer "scientists" to give that claim any weight whatsoever. Unless you're going to post a CV or some real credentials, making claims like that will only make people take you less seriously, not more. Just saying.

I could post pictures of them tonight perhaps. But I'd have to black my name out for obvious reasons, so it'd be best if you gave me some kind of sign I could provide alongside it that would demonstrate their authenticity.

Does your wife know about the shit you say online?

I met her on personality cafe, and invited her to the love-shy forum a while later. She essentially agrees with the larger structure of what I say, if not every detail.

Why do you think men are entitled to sex? What, if any, conspiracies are in place to deny Perfect Gentlemen access to the pussy they deserve just because they have a penis?

I rated this post for feels because you saved me and everyone else from reading that shit. You are a brave soul.
I'll be honest, I actually think Weininger and Gilmartin's books could work as speculative fiction! Like, what would a 1980s self-help book look like in an alternate universe where occult forces held sway over people's daily lives? How would a late Victorian academic explain interpersonal relationships if science had verified the subconscious emission and reception of a psychical force? As world-building puzzles, they're kinda neat.

As a resource for people who are vulnerable and struggling, though, these books are worse than worthless. They are legitimately so insane as to be indistinguishable from science fiction - to endorse them, one would have to be a sociopathic prankster or a straight-up pants-on-head barking lunatic.

I'm not entitled to a job, but I can still want one, and be upset if I fail to get one.

Getting sex is a lot easier then getting a job, though. A lot more fun, too. And unlike jobs, of which there often is a shortage, there never is a shortage of people to have sex with. All you need to do to get it, is go out there and socialize, and do what comes natural.

Are you ever afraid your wife is going to cuck you with an alpha for those sweet sexy bad boy genes? Or are you the bad boy in this situation?

Well, I'm not completely nice. Obviously everything has to be in moderation. No one wants a doormat. When we say "niceguys", we don't usually mean the type of guy that seems to just exist to serve others. It's more about treating others with a minimum degree of respect and decency.

I don't think my wife is a badboy chaser. She comes from a culture in which promiscuity is not encouraged, thus badboy strategies are not genetically successful there, and so less attractive. She's also a virgin, and statistically marriages with virgins have a much lower chance of divorce. The theory is that we pair bond more effectively when we haven't had lots of previous bonds. Like un-sticking and re-sticking glue.

Even if that were true, it has no relevance to the initial point.

*walks into thread, reads conversation.*
Hey guy's how it go--

That reveals a shallow worldview in which hedonistic pleasure takes priority over lasting relationships.

Relationships are a big priority in humanity, humans are a social creature which craves any kind of relationship. Yes, people are shallow and hedonistic but its always been like that the world hasn't become more shallow - it's always been kiddie pool shallow. If you've gotten this idea because you've observed it/experienced it then you should consider hanging out with other people.

Gotten what idea? I was referring to the person I quoted, not to people in general.

I think because I've watched so much prawn over the years that sex by itself has become a boring prospect lol. Sex in the context of a meaningful bond remains interesting.

I have a modest vision of a life with a girl. We go to cafés together, we play games together, talk together... it's companionship on a different level of intimacy than can be gained through friendship alone. You can do these with friends, but it's not the same. And perhaps it's an outdated desire these days, but it's what I want.

I'm probably not an interesting specimen to poke, because I'm not considered an extremist by LS forum standards. Sorry to disappoint.

Since we are products of evolution, our brain and our psychology is a product of evolution, true. But if our understanding of psychology or our brains isn't rigorous enough to connect to our understanding of evolution then not only do we not have to explain psychology in terms of evolution, we can't explain psychology in terms of evolution and anybody who attempts to pass their understanding of psychology off as "evolutionary" should be resoundingly mocked. Psychology as a field is a pretty big clusterfuck, I barely take any new study I read seriously and even the notorious cases that more or less wrote the textbooks have come under heavy scrutiny in recent years. It really cracks me up that psuedointellectuals latch on to evpsych because it seems a lot more science-y than the notoriously soft science of psychology but they are perfectly willing to use whatever psych studies they happen to like to back up their "hard" science observations. You're not cherrypicking any less than PC liberal SJWs.

This is a flawed comparison, because evopsych isn't about a detailed understanding about the mechanisms behind psychology. In computer terms, evopsych is like finding Microsoft Word and saying "I bet this is here because people want to use their computer for word processing". It just identifies a trait and makes deductions about why that trait is there, which factors pushed us in this direction. What you're talking about is more like the programming behind the program. Evopsych doesn't attempt to explain such things. Why do we have legs? Probably, in large part, to walk. How do legs function biochemically? Don't ask me.
