While mental illness doesn't excuse you from being a cunt, Alec was actually trying pretty hard to not be a mentally ill cunt. He was in therapy and he had been in a better place for years. He took responsibility for his actions, too: this was his past.

She took a guy who was working really hard on himself out of sheer shame for the way he behaved towards her, and made sure he lost everything valuable to him. She knew he was going to be left alone, while he saw everything he worked all his life crumbling down.
This would be extremely hard on anyone, but, as you said, it's even worse for someone with BPD. I've seen people kill themselves because they felt abandoned by one person they cared for: imagine when he was actually abandoned by literally every person he cared for.

Which I think is even more fucked up, because not only Zoe took advantage of the relationship, but also Alec's mental illness by being an utter sociopath. She knew he had mental illness and decides to publicly out him on twitter mainly so she could receive more patreon donors.

And you can't say this is or isn't a "responsible" action because I ain't responsible for jack shit until I'm an investigator, a lawyer, a police officer responding to this case, a juror, a medical examiner, a health care provider, her counselor, or a member of the clergy in which she has confided. I have zero fucking responsibility to believe or disbelieve this useless fucking twat.

And my opinion is- this is a claim with zero evidence and I am under no obligation to take this bitch at face value, so until some of that evidence manifests- I do not believe her. I do not know her in person and can speak very little to her character in any way that would say "well she wouldn't lie about this". Because from what I've seen, her record seems to be littered with quite a few actions that make her integrity about as reliable as a styrofoam steering wheel.


And you are objectively wrong- Deciding on something without evidence is exactly what we can do. When some evidence manifests itself, then our opinions can change because that's how human beings operate.

I'm not ancient by any standards, but in my life experience there's a lot to be said about people who are continuously the victim of some heinous experiences over and over again by different people. They're either really fucking stupid and make some bad choices about their company, or they're lying. Pick one. Because if you believe your girlfriend about every one of her exes being some abusive piece of shit, or some cheating asshole- well, I think it might be worth your time to talk to some of her exes. Trust me on this one.
