I don't know about where Desmond really feels he is in the gender/sexuality miasma, but gay men are so much more likely to have eating disorders. There are plenty of reasons why him and/or his handlers profit off his frighteningly emaciated figure, but none of them are really healthy. Not many doctors would be pro a kid being that underweight especially during what should be puberty.

Why does this poor kid reminds me of a crack addict ghetto whore? Look at his legs, that's not what 12 years old should look like, not even girls at his age have such thin legs unless they anorexic. Maybe is the drugs that he is taking or his ''mama'' starving him to look younger and earn bucks from pedos.
Moving on, as some other users said, Desmond doesn't seem to have friends of his age, he is mostly seen with adult and sketchy people.
He has an interest on make up and fashion, a sane parent would put their kiddy into theater and face painting, look at the Goofy guy, as horrifying it looks to us he puts a lot of passion and know a thing or two about the hobby. And I have never thought that I would write that someone growing up into the Goofy Guy would be better than whatever degenerate fall of Rome stuff.
Another thing is that this new generation of LGBT kids seem to be more isolated from straight peers than any other generations. When I was a kid, everyone watched the same shows and we talked about it, if they didn't watch it we could only play and talk. Right now, parents and suspected LGBT children are put into GSA associations, or whatever the yanks have in their schools and high schools, going home and log in to Tumblr or Twitter, without actual normal interaction, then they would spread these ideas to their peers to only being laughed at because they are retarded (as all kiddies) Then they isolate themselves on this scene because ''homophobia/transphobia'' and get deeper into a rabbit that seems to have no end.

It's self-imposed segregation. My alma mater used an entire dorm building for segregated housing - LGBT students on one floor, Trans+ students on another floor, students of color on another floor.
Yet if the school said bluntly "LGBT students are going to be housed separately from the non-LGBT students, and trans students will be separated similarly," people would scream ghettoization and bigotry and it would be like blood in shark-infested waters.
Apparently it's ignorant to think that the goal should be that everyone of all shapes, colors, creeds, and orientations should mesh together and live in harmony. Everyone has to be the specialest special of them all. America at least has such a culture of "special" and "unique", it's tearing us all apart, Leesaa.
And when everyone has to be the specialest special, people start doing shit like this. Pimping out their kids for some agenda and personal asspats.

Really makes you think. I believe that the ''you are special'' culture is another ingredient for what are we experiencing, not only with LGBT culture, but the rest of the world.
You just can't be a normie anymore with an average life, you must be special in some way, and if you don't find it just pimp out your kid or create a bullshit identity for yourself.
21st century's culture is one of super individuality that we even forget who we are, we create bullshit identities to cope, sometimes, that you are not special. I recently watched some 50s PSAs, the core value was to be the best version of you in order to function in society and make it better, society wasn't bad itself, just the dysfunctional parts. 60 years from there and the message completely changed, society was bad, not because of bad apples, but by design. Every one can't be trusted and could crash you if they want. The normies are just stupid NPCs who don't know how special they are, but absolutely, how much of a snowflake you are. There's no more normal human interactions, just an screen after this person, some anonymity, and you can choose your circlejerk. As a muscle gets weaker if you don't stimulate it, attitudes like coping in an insane world, the ability to not be a fucktard around society or the ability to self instropect and respect other's opinions are atrophied in these people.

If the audience doesn't think you're funny, even if they're trying to be nice, it will be noticable because no one will be laughing in the right places or at all. I actually feel bad for him.
