Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

have some issues. Just from briefly perusing this thread and the posts after the Document was released onto the farm there are some minor errors that users here noticed, mismatched numbers and seemingly missing parts.

One thing I've wondered: what's the source of this copy of the filing? Is there any likelihood we got an earlier draft somehow?

and paying the likes of Michael B. Jordan, David Tennet, etc. to voice in a generic SJW Mecha Animu that they could've used people in their company to do for far cheaper.
IIRC Michael B. Jordan actually bankrolled in helping to get Gen:LOCK made all because he wanted to be in an "anime" despite the less expensive route of just applying for a voice audition.

The name was right in front of them, in a form that could be copied directly, and they still failed to spell it right.

I will go with intentionally spelled it wrong so it doesn't trend.

uh oh.. whats this

does christopher sabat have power and influence over the people at rooster teeth.

man wouldnt it be a shocker if it came out vic was fired from rooster teeth because of chris sabat intimidating rooster teeth just like he did with kamehacon

Finding it very hard to believe the casting couch has any influence over Toei.

🤔 I mean that's not the way to look at the situation. Nick isn't gonna blindly support everything Ty does. He's a different set of eyes and he will find and point out what he deems flaws within his own scope of knowledge, experience, and understanding of the law. I don't think even Ty would expect just constant praise from Nick. Just heaping praise on someone helps no one, Nick will offer up constructive criticism towards the filing.

Nick's been doing that with Ty's filings since the beginning. He's disagreed with one or two aspects, and said he would emphasize certain things more than BHBH does.

Interestingly, when he has Ty on to go over other documents like the Meyer v Waid docs, Ty does the same thing. He even extends the benefit of the doubt to his opponents in Vic's case. Both of them are hesitant to criticize other lawyers' work when those lawyers are being paid by clients, are more familiar with the facts, and have a case on the line. Twitter lolyers can get BTFO all day because they aren't producing "work product".

For all the whining KickVic does about how Nick/Ty act, they are acting like professionals and extending professional respect to fellow workers. Nick even extends professional courtesy to random lawyers on Twitter, as long as they aren't sperging out.

At least hero isn't a convicted felon who didn't need his wife's credit score. I think we targeted the wrong negrosped.
True that HeroHei isn't a convicted felon, which is a relief. What do you mean by we've targeted the wrong person? MBA/David did admit to be a convicted felon while owning a gun on his own livestream, so - interestingly enough - he's not allow to own a gun because it is against federal law to have someone like him to a own gun.

Everyone else hit it on the head pretty well: No lawyer worth their salt would say another's work is infallible. People who blindly think their side is right is doomed to fail and whatnot.

Each lawyer has a preference. Ty has added a few little underhanded jokes in his document, more for his and the audience pleasure (Because this is one of the more/most public cases right now, and he is acting like a showman for us) but another lawyer may say that the judge could catch them out and hinder his case (Not outright destroy it twitter speds).
While I am not trained in US Law (Only UK) I can't really imagine the faults directly, but there will always be a criticism and an area to improve on.

Also, this is a good thing to do with your work: Point out your flaws now so that when the time comes you don't get caught with your pants down and have your opposition exploit it.

Right, my mistake.

Similar to Loveridge, another dipshit LOUDLY announces their plans to essentially be scumbags and or do shady shit.

These people are like Bond Villains, or Supervillains in a Comic Book just monologuing online while thinking that they're doing it alone or with fellow sycophants.

It would be unfortunate if Vic wins the lawsuit and the other people on the staff sees this tweet.
It would be a shame if Sailor Mars is ousted from her position for blacklisting a guest as part of a lynch mob.

I'm sure Chuck was very aware he and Todd were going to get the boot soon. Vic has just been the guy they wanted to get rid of for two decades and it was only in good time they'd start smoking out everyone else and slowly ruin the industry. I'm sure this certain figure has quite some skeletons in their closet and perhaps I don't know encourage and supported this.

Also looks everyone is mad. But...remember are good friend, Mike? He went on a rant.

I don't know what he's saying and I don't care to read it (someone can archive it but...)

Oh what's that? You can't find the little Tweet that Funi spoke out that caused damages in the filing? Must be weally hawd since it's a weally big document.

Page 838, you dumbass

It took me 60 seconds to navigate through it to find that. I haven't even read through all of it but even I figured out the gist of where to find stuff easily. I'm not a lawyer, but this guy claims to be. Can't find evidence in a doc. How embarrassing.

Nick mentioned that at one of the first hearings, the judge made a joke to Ty.
On the topic " It' s you who should stand here and report!'' meaning that Ty is the senior partner in the firm and that he confused him with another BHBH employee. And that it was a friendly joke.

It may well be that Ty read the judge correctly and the jokes were actually for the judge.

I mean he's making perfection look horrifyingly normal.

I have never seen a man say so much, yet add so little to the discussion outside of Doucette.
