Now I'm sure we're all curious as to which convention and which CEO, but that's a bit of a mystery. However, I do recall that Erica worked at AWA for many years, including those when a certain affiant for Rial and Toye had assumed leadership of the convention. I wonder if this is a story about him.

If companies didn't bend the knee to their false threats they'd have no power. That's basically the only reason things like Vic's situation happen, companies still think PR works like it's the 70's.

I'm a true anime fan because I don't watch horrible, horrible fucking dubs by Americans who can't voice act for shit and make me want to put pincushions in my ears. As well as changing the dubs for a 'western' audience. Fuck that. There's a reason these people get .50 cents an hour and videogame/movie/TV voice actors make bank. Every time I listen to a dub it makes me want to kill myself because the voices are so over-dramatic and fucking terrible, with like 2 or 3 being good, which makes it worse.

Not to mention these people would LOVE to censor the fuck out of anime. So yeah, get fucked and get a lein forever you crazy dumb cunt. I'm rooting for Vic even though I never listen to dubs because these are the types that would dictate what we're allowed to watch and hear, and #metoo anyone who didn't agree. They deserve to be burned to the ground.

Also Vic isn't a public figure, even in Anime circles because I don't listen to dubs and wouldn't have known who the fuck he ever was if he hadn't gotten sued.

From my own observations a lot of KV side seem to not really be fans of anime since they get upset about it so much and lack any real love for the hobby. All I see is those same people complain about how "problematic" a show is or just blindly gay ship two characters together.

Also the idea that only people that suck up to you and Monica are true anime fans is laughable at best since I doubt the vast majority of anime fans even know who you are.

I don't know who most of these people involved even are and as much as they would like to be seen as the "voice" for a character that title will always be held by the original VAs. Even if I enjoy a dubbed series here and there it's never enough to make me look up who any of the people involved are.

I'm very glad that today it is so easy to ignore the dubbed community at large and just enjoy the relatively drama free subbed community where it's mostly people complaining about the quality of sub translation.
