Quinn covers a lot of ground through different means - she was connected to Feminist Frequency before Anita even began her grifting for Tropes vs Women, she's IRL friends with numerous game journalists, she's fucked several others, and she has numerous connections in the indie circuit and she also has fucked several major staffers of the indie circuit. This is on top of the connections she has with ex-SA alumni, third wave feminist groups, and even ANTIFA types.

The key is not that Quinn integrates herself with these groups - it's the fact that the people she's latched onto are ideologues, and ergo, true believers. Anita, for example, for all her grifting, is a legit believer in the ideology of Bell Hooks, and Lifschitz is a Brianna Wu-style cultural hegemonist. This exploitation is quite literally the centerpiece of why CON came together; she wouldn't have been able to lasso in the troons and loons if they didn't already buy into the postmodernist cultural Marxist BS they all believe in.

The only way Alec faking his death would make sense, would be if he did so without Zoe being involved to bait everyone into showing their evil face and try and bait Zoe into a guilt-stricken confession to one of her cronies that is secretly working with Alec to get Zoe dead to rights on tape/DM admitting to framing him for rape.

And even then, he could have just as easily faked a failed suicide attempt and be "in a coma" instead. Faking his death would raise too many questions whereas a coma would make more sense and be easier to fake.

I've been following this for a bit and I don't really know what to say that wouldn't turn into rampant a-logging considering the absolute abhorrence that is on full display here. I always saw Twitter as more annoying than anything else, but not outright fucking malicious. I used to always joke about how SJWism/PC Culture is a cult. Like "haha, wow. It's like a worse Manson." But considering the amount of bodies that hit the floor due to this social phenomena, I'm starting to think they really are a cult. Not like a cult. Not comparable to a cult. It's an actual cult. A disorganized, schizophrenic, leaderless cult, but one all the same. It's absolutely fucking terrifying to me.

I agree, Social Justice is a cult. the main difference is its lack of centralized authority and charismatic leadership, which makes it distinct from the others (People's Temple, Scientology, etc). but everything else is in place: dogmatic ideology, dehumanization of non-members, shunning & stigmatization of those who break the rules or think differently, a high degree of personal control of its members, the demand for total loyalty and commitment, etc.
one of the dead giveaways of a cult is when people all think and act the same. now, members of a group may have broad agreements and similarities, but in a healthy organization, you'll see variation and differences of opinion, eg alt-right vs alt-lite, politics within the *gate movements, etc.; you'll also see different types of people from different backgrounds. in a cult, every member spouts the exact same factory-pressed views, and displays extreme conformity. thus, you can picture in your head what an NPC soyboy or purple-haired weirdo is like, their appearance and mannerisms, you know their entire worldview, what they're posting and retweeting, the emoticons and gender pronouns, etc. it's very predictable because they're all members of the same cult, and that's what cults do -- remake an entire person in its own image.

as for Zoe Quinn, I think she got more than she bargained for. she wanted to ruin his life and cash in on more pity bucks, but she wasn't counting on his suicide, especially right after she made the post. with that said, she knew he was mentally unstable and troubled, and she knew the personal and professional consequences of being excommunicated (aka 'cancelled') by an SJW queen bee. so, while I don't think this was pre-meditated murder, it was manslaughter, because her actions led to his death.

until now, she's mostly contributed drama to the world, rather than anything of value. her only work I know of is Depression Quest, a text adventure which barely qualifies as a game (not to say text adventures can't be games, they can be, many were popular back in the day, but Depression Quest is easily one of the shittiest of the genre). that's already a very questionable legacy, but this changes things. not only does she not contribute anything positive, but she's actively deprived the world of value by committing manslaughter against Alec Holowka, who aside from being a fellow sentient, had talent and creativity, much of which will never come to fruition because of this. at least Gamergate was lulz, this is something else.

Getting better means abusing men to socjus. I'm saying he didn't know how, had no way to change without being persecuted, and wasn't giving the chance because he didn't know anything other or how to get out of that situation. I think the ultimate goal was self-aggrandisment Alec was acceptable collatoral damage in that aim, Quinn saw the free publicly from Metoo and ironically enough thought "Me too" .
