Admittedly I'm not excited, I'm a bit anxious. I don't believe anything is easy and so far it's been building up to be a sweep, even with this denial. I don't think this case is going to stay smooth sailing and it's definitely going to get dirty down the line.
Admittedly, people are getting too emotional over it. Let's not forget we still have at least 6 months of this left, unless things go amazingly or poorly.

I'm anxious too. If we start getting stubborn and fighting over things beyond our control this whole thing might fall apart quickly. Focus on the evidence and the cows.

I'm actually surprised that Funimation didn't raise the white flag and send out tweets begging Vic to "call off the dogs." Toei is meeting with them this week and I figure they will have a list of demands that Funimation needs to start working on immediately.

Amuses me whenever anyone brings up using one's fame for sex, pretty sure any living person with enough fame to get sex has done that.

It's telling that they changed the statement from 'he used his fame in shameful ways to get sex' (with a repeated backdrop of 'I am conservative and don't approve of fornication') into 'he used his fame to creep on women'. One is an implication of consensual sex with adult groupies that a conservative would look down on, and the other is a man trying to abuse his power to harass women in nonconsensual ways. That's a purposeful twist in the hope that it will go viral and damage him. Same as changing maybe 10 accusations to 100+.

The only thing Chupp will want to know at the hearing is if Vic is not attempting to use the legal system to infringe on peoples rights. This isn't even a motion for summary judgement or dismissal. The defendants are claiming the entire lawsuit and all its causes of action infringes on their constitutional rights. Ty could show up to court naked and play the banjo in response to Chupps questions and if at the end of the day the facts presented indicate there is no use of the legal system to suppress speech and association the case is going to proceed.

Basically the two were morons who posted on twitter they voiced Male Byleth and Edelgard (though this was at separate times not at the same time) when the voice cast wasn’t supposed to be announced yet. Nintendo is very serious about NDAs, so they got the axe immediately and were quickly replaced.

At least for Vee, she borderline admitted to playing Edelgard after E3 2018 for Three Houses which is a HUGE no-no in Japan, and from when that trailer dropped to February 2019 she was replaced by Tara Platt as Edelgard due to being an exceptional moron~ Robbie Daymond (Hubert in Three Houses, notably played Prompto Argentum in FF 15’s English Dub) almost got the NDA boot up his ass like Vee did due to confirmation of doing voice work in the game on Twitter before deleting it, but he narrowly avoided it due to never specifying who he was / had voiced and his cleanup saved him.
