You give FAU too much credit. He posts in qcs because being a Something Awful admin was his entire life. All former mods and admins spend months after being fired telling everybody what they would have done if they were still a mod/admin. It'll take him awhile to accept the fact that no one gives a shit what some dweeb with a room temperature IQ thinks about the forums.

There was drama with a E/N poster abusing his kids and the troon mod of E/N doing nothing.

In a more bigger context With out ZDR to set the course and FAU being the last admin standing. He couldnt handle the pressure and was perma banning like crazy.

The child abuse basically broke the cammels back and he left

Also my dying forum no longer has anyone to code for it so can someone fix that too?-~*
Lowtax wants to deal with it even less than I imagined More than likely he'll just have a small forums post that says "Goodbye, Everyone. This site costs too much money and effort for me to run. It's been fun, site goes down at the end of the month." - though this may not happen immediately , I don't see Something Awful making it to 2020

Navigating the archives is a fucking nightmare, but you aren't wrong. Hell I'd say go digging in the gas chamber, that's where the stuff they want gone is put.

SA has been "on its last legs, will be dead by next year" for like a decade. Despite all of Lowtax's threats and sobbing, It will operate as long as the flow of tranny NEET bux exceeds the costs of hosting as it is his only form of income (besides grandchild pity money from his cancer-stricken mother). At last check in, about a year ago, SA was making triple its hosting costs. Now granted that was according to Lowtax, who as an addict is hardly a reliable narrator.
But SA is fine, the only problem is SA's operating surplus won't support 3 kids, one ex-chinkwife, one maple wife, and Lowtax's ambien & wine habit.


The only thing of interest here, other than admitting ZDR has bailed on him for real after extracting 12K from incel goons, is he admits he's being raped by taxes, so the tax judgement that was uncovered a while back seems to be legit despite previous denials.
I speculated back when the Waffle SS dug up his tax lien that he might have run afoul of recent changes to Missouri online services tax law.

This bit is frankly bizarre for me, because the dude already backed off from saying “ZDR ripped me off” months ago. We had mods like Lightning Knight defending ZDR’s reputation on discord, and even Kyanka tried to claim it was all a big misunderstanding. And now the story has changed, again, to “ZDR ripped me off” with no further explanation.

I have no idea what the fuck happened or why he kept on vacillating with this shit. As much as I think ZDR has no business being an admin, in this case I’m willing to give him the benefit of a doubt simply because Lowtax is all but impossible to work with in any professional capacity. For example I remember SA’s ad guy being genuinely baffled whenever he had to talk to Lowtax. He had no idea what the fuck Lowtax was saying that was sincere, sarcastic, or an attempt at being zany, and thus any meaningful communication with the guy paying your checks was pretty much impossible.

I’m more willing to believe that Lowtax drove out the only dude willing to put up with his shit for free. Though given goons’s tendency to burn bridges and rip each other off once more than a grand or two of money is involved, it’s entirely possible Lowtax is right. It’s just hard to buy it when he’d already walked back on these claims once already.

I think you're giving a man who was willing to trade coding work for administrative power too much credit. Neither lowtax nor ZDR are right in the head, but at the end of the day lowtax is pulling $20k/month from his paypigs, while ZDR barely managed to swipe $4k after providing essentially free coding work for a few years.
