To be fair I’m sure the stress of raising Sammie and her kids is a huge part of that. I have no doubt she worries about Sammie when she’s on the street. That’s why she keeps letting her back in. I wouldn’t be surprised if she turned to the bottle on and off, but generally rednecks who fall into that pattern don’t get out, and Sammie’s sisters seem fairly normal. All we can do is thunk.
