Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Which is hilarious since TCPA is made to throw out frivolous lawsuits based on free speech. That he has any losses kind of shows he's not very good at either understanding TCPA or at being a lawyer.
to be fair, given his voice, i doubt he understands speech, much less free speech. So how are we to expect he understands laws regarding free speech? But he found his tribe in Moronica and friends as they just like him don't know what free speech is.

Lemonparty complaining about being ambushed with 57 pages TCPA resposnse and then filing multiple motions and writing letters to the judge is pretty funny. How many pages since the 31st is he up to right now?
if we include the Subpoena: 93 since September 3rd which was when his stupid word vomit about the late filing came out. That's 93 pages in 2 and a half days. Almost twice what he bitches is "too much" to prepare for in almost 2 months in a 30th of the time.

Also since I feel like this wasn't really talked about, but is it normal for parties to give the judge organized binders? Feel like that's a real brown-noser move.

He’s clearly threatened by all the power Vic holds in the VA industry that he must bury him alive.

I think sony would want some sort of confidentiality agreement for them to quiet down about it. Unfortunately for that scenario Nick isn't a party to the suit and he's the one they'd want to shut up.
That's what I've been theorizing for awhile. If Funi loses at TCPA, I'm guessing that Sony is going to be looking to settle and impose a strict NDA as part of it's terms to just shut everybody up amd bury this debacle. Whether or not they jettison the Morons and Marchi to legally fend for themselves at that point will be the interesting twist. If they don't provide legal cover via an settlement and NDA, then the bad publicity in the case just keeps rolling on. The next month is going to be fascinating to watch.

It isn't. It's captioned as in case 141-307474-19. It lists Vic as "Plaintiff Victor Mignogna." Then it lists Lemongrab as "Attorney for Plaintiffs."

That's the case that's stayed, and he knows it because he filed the motion that stayed it himself. A stay is a ruling of the court. He is violating a court ruling that the court put in place due to a motion he personally filed. He should be sanctioned or held in contempt.

From what Nick has said on his show, that's unlikely unless Chupp is absolutely fucking done with this bullshit. So, we'll see.

He has all day set for it. They will just bump the next person
I know Nick said it, but according to the docket they only have 3 and a half hours and that also has lunch there too.

I hope that Vic gets compensation but the wheels of justice turn slowly. Wish we could bring back duels or something to skip this drawn out process but then again, Vic is probably too nice of a guy to do that to Ron Soye.

This is gonna be the big problem. Vic wants his name cleared, not money. Sony is gonna for sure demand every seal/NDA/baby harp seal's ass level of waterproofing to keep the ugly from going prime time. If Vic were to agree to silence, the cost/payout would likely skyrocket and then the Spergy Bunch would wait all of 15 seconds to tweet about how unfair it all was or whatever, breaking the NDA because they simply cannot STFU and they want Vic crucified.

So back into court we all go, but this time with a failure to abide by judgement/agreement on Vic's PLUS side/advantage. So then what? Another NDA that the spergs will never adhere to? More millions paid out by Sony? I mean good for Vic's bank account, but it does not actually fix the problem.

I could tolerate a settlement from Sony, but the other 3 need to burn. People donated to the gofundme because they want to see this metoo shit get put out and the only way it will is going to be if there is punishment on the record for the fuckers.

TBH that doesn't sound too bad. Vic could open a dubbing studio with that sweet sweet Sony money.

Lemoine is literally telling the whole team to go to him in the morning. I really, REALLY don't get how he could possibly think this would mean anything besides pissing people off.

If it was me, I'd sleep in, come to court last minute scratching my hairy belly, and stroll up to lemontits and say "you called?"
