I hate to be the one to bring this to light, but as someone who works professionally in the entertainment industry, once you pass a certain level of success, you have no friends. You only have people who want to see what you can do for them, while they do as little as possible for you. The only friends you have are those you had before any of your success. And even then you need to keep both eyes open and strip that circle down.

IIRC George Clooney did something like give each of 13 of his pre-fame close friends $1M each, on the condition that declining it would mean that nobody gets any money. These are the people that did him a solid when he was a struggling wanna-be actor who needed things like a couch to crash on, etc.

You can't remedy evidentiary defects on appeal. Nobody's said the actual declarations were struck or that the judge even cared about the notary issues.

Nobody's said they weren't either.

If they're in evidence, they're evidence and the judge is not at liberty to disregard prima facie evidence.

The standard on appeal is de novo which means the factual findings of the judge are entitled to no deference.

I think everyone understand that and the fact the bar might be very low.

But there's a certain kind of skull-fuckery to Monica and Ron that rubs everyone the wrong way. It's not specific to entertainment, it's the emptiness of cancel culture we've had to see here. There's nothing to their claims, social media stands them up to be heroes, Funimation is a cesspool, etc.

It's hard to understand how these people persist.

Nope, just log off the Farms and wait for Nick’s stream tomorrow. Now that the specific list of dismissals has been CONFIRMED by Nick, no news will be coming out until the judge actually decides to rule one way or the other on the remaining charges, and who knows how long that would take.

This case is irrelevant to Meyer vs Waid, since that is in federal court (under diversity jurisdiction), and there's federal precedent that you can't file a TCPA motion in federal court.
