Since everything involving Vic vs Funimation/Weeb Wars is coming to a close, I will be retiring from the Farms due to my mental and physical health [in an actual yet literal sense, my whole entire body]. I have invested time and effort on this for a long time since March 2019, and it's - in my brutally honest opinion - an overwhelming experience. Don't ever the negatives and any of the situations like this get the best of you and have it overwhelm you. This have been a long journey for all of us. This perhaps is a goodbye.

I think being that's one of the hardest parts of the "just watch and laugh" perspective. Everyone has their biases and opinions and we gonna take our sympathies to one side of another. Even as a fucking leftie, I was taking Vic's side because the other side were bunch of idiots. But the more the hearing get closer, the more skeptical I became. It sounds to me like the judge had his mind made up before the hearing started, evidence be damned, this was just some minor celebrity suing other minor celebrities over mean tweets, started striking everything at rapid pace, realized there's more evidence than he counted on for defamation, and is going to spend some time trying to draft a reason to strike that too within 30 days that can't be appealed.

And if that's the case, it actually makes for a surprisingly easy appeal. It would be harder to appeal if he didn't strike everything. He missed on following some rules, and applied incorrect, higher standards. I'm not sure if he wanted to actually dismiss things, or make it easy to appeal and just get the dumpster fire of a case off his hands.

Once the transcripts come out, though it'll be tough to denote tone, I think it'll depict things in a much better light as well. It's not a win for Vic, but it's not a loss either. Will see what Chupp's rulings are when he gets around to it

Both sides are equally as funny, one just happens to be officially endorsed by KF. The exposing of how much of a clusterfuck Funimation is has been a lot of fun, as has seeing what awful people some folks really are. ISWV is mostly a Youtuber racket though that's making a fuck ton of dollars out of fanning the flames. With all the talking him up and giving him his own range or merch I expected him to be more competent than he has been, when you watch him and Nick talking about models and shit though you can tell that Nick got him involved because he's like the middle aged Nick.
