My final thoughts on this whole matter:
I have joined Weeb-Wars since its inception back in february primarily on accident. Despite being a DBZ fan, I have always thought DBSuper was utter garbage and I have lost interest in watching it after about 30 odd episodes. When I heard that the news dropped, I got invested, not because I am a fan of Vic, but because I am legitimately angry that the #metoo bullshit is now plaguing anime, the one medium that is supposed to be safe from SJW's. I got into an angry tirade on twitter and I was essentially banned by crybabies because they can't handle the whole "innocent until proven guilty" phrase. I know I was sucked into the culture war, but I also wanted Vic to actually fight back against these assholes.
I got even more invested when the GFM started and the lawsuits are starting to surface. I thought to myself "finally... someone is actually FIGHTING BACK against these assholes and we could actually get the justice we deserved." There was so much support and I joined Kiwi Farms mainly because of my interest in this debacle. I admit, I am still a newfag in this site, but some of their arguments were really sound.
Then, as time goes on, we were all getting more and more invested, that even some people I know told me to "let it go. Just focus on your own shit and move on. If you wanna not let the SJW's win, just take your money somewhere else that isn't funimation." In hindsight, I should have heeded their advice, lol.
Now, as the events unfold, I have casted some doubts on where the Weeb-wars momentum would go. I don't want these assholes to win, but I feel as though the lawsuit may not be the best option available to stick it to the #metoo douchebags that destroy careers. To all that are invested, if you REALLY want to stop these SJW's from winning, you need to support people that are not involved with this mess. Funimation is not your only option and Vic has a shit ton of other opportunities ahead of him. This isn't the end of the world, even if the lawsuit gets thrown out.
