My feelings regarding Chupp's rulings are that they were equal parts right, and equal parts dismissive. It was fairly obvious that Marchi was the weakest case in terms of TI, and her getting off was the most likely, but I personally question how she managed to get out of defamation and social conspiracy, and the others with TI. It only leads me to presume Ty didn't do an adequate enough job arguing it for Chupp to rule on it. I mean, Sam managed to argue his case and finesse the ruling out of Chupp, so I don't think it's a matter of Chupp being entirely in the wrong here.Wait, why'd he need anything but the one very confirmed case of TI with Kamehacon?
"at least two" sounds like a really dumb standard for the burden of evidence; "show me at least two corpses before I'm willing to let this murder trial go forward"...
now, I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that's not how that works![]()
This is the Weeb Wars after all. Don't y'all know after the protagonist gets the leaving shit outta him beaten, it's when he gets the power-up outta it's ass?I'm just happy this whole shitfest gets to continue. Funni leaks were the best, but I'm waiting for gold and excuses from MoRon's end since they didnt get their dismissal.
I dunno, fam. Reminds me of that time on WW2 on 1943 where Mussolini said that he knew how to win the war but he wasn't going to say how. I'm more suspicious this time
So Chupp wanted affidavits from additional conventions, because Ty had one from Slatosch and went on a spergout. Apparently he was pissed off that Ty said he couldn't get the affidavits, and Chupp assumed what he meant.
Jesus, Chupp must have taken his morning shit sideways
What it probably means is that he's going to appeal the shit out of the rulings because there was clearly some bullshit at play. Also hopefully he might not submit his homework one minute before the window closes then cry to the professor for an extension next time, now that he knows the professor is an asshole.I dunno, fam. Reminds me of that time on WW2 on 1943 where Mussolini said that he knew how to win the war but he wasn't going to say how. I'm more suspicious this time
Tell that to the New England Patriots.
A nearing $250k gofundme, Funi leaks, Toye's wife beating, Shane's shoe eating, Lyin Cunt's pedophilia and schizophrenia, and the never ending autism churning of lawtwitter have salvaged Vic's career and boosted his fanbase, effectively changing the narrative. Nearly every allegation has been debunked with video/photo proof. Even should Vic win, he'll only have the chance of getting 2 apologies from 2 accusers, if that even becomes an option through settlement. All of the other stories would live on, and Vic wouldn't be able to do anything. The most autistic of spergs are now able to call each one of the other accusers liars, and all they can do in reponse is block and run back to their hugbox and echo chambers where they'll never be challenged, like they already have.Because the court of public opinion has not changed after 7 months, Vic is still unpersoned and no one has dropped the lying little shits from anything significant. He'll always be a predator and they'll always be the poor maidens who needed saving. Same shit happened with Zoe Quinn, she opened her legs to everyone who could get her ahead in an industry and by the end of it she was sitting in front of the UN crying about muh harassment as if she hadn't been the one sleeping around like a cunt.
The court of public opinion is a rigged game from the start and is only filled with jesters and grifters.
A reality check once in a while is never bad, even if it stingsEh, I'm going to say Ty fucked up this time around. I think both sides are sperging out too early about this. Hopefully Ty getting slapped down will get him to focus and get his shit together.
Well this sucks... Who do I blame more here? Ty or the judge? He has been doing a great job until today.
I really have to say, while I have a bit of optimism regarding the rest of this case, the cheering and encouragement of these responses are a little sad and pitiful in nature.
TL;DR Marchi is out the hook, most charges were dismissed except for:Tell that to the New England Patriots.
In all seriousness, will there be a TL;DR summary? in the OP soon? I really don't feel like reading through all the sperging since I saw some tard talking about someone about to jump off a bridge or some shit.
I know Ty's a real grown man, so here's to hoping that taking heat from non-lawtwits pushes him into get his shit together.Eh, I'm going to say Ty fucked up this time around. I think both sides are sperging out too early about this. Hopefully Ty getting slapped down will get him to focus and get his shit together.
Hilarious. Thank you.My grandfather with dementia has had conversations with squirrels that know more about law than most judges.
It does have a real effect on my life. I have to live with the fact that Funimation still exists. That's about as bad as having cancer.Ya know, one thing I really appreciate about the Farms is that generally speaking discussions tend to self-correct towards sanity. I definitely felt myself getting a bit too caught up in the situation, but seeing the many examples in this thread of what NOT to do being mocked incessantly should be enough to bring everyone to the reality that at the end of the day this case has no real effect in your life.
