Places are still very much hiring women due to free money to do so, but they're keeping them in the thot corral. Basically what they do now is keep
women employed on another floor or section, they're not allowed to talk directly to the programmers who are mostly dudes. You get the occasional female one
but they're usually spectrum enough to fit in. Coders have their own lunch room, they will say it's because coders are messy and need their space but really that's not it.

The programmers are given every reason to never go downstairs to the ""writing"" room. Fully stocked fridge, catering, game room etc. Downstairs you will get nagged
to put someone's ideas into the game. Might be a bear in a dress down there ready to pounce...better be safe and stay up here. The women never see it and they
are kept like slightly less pampered pigs themselves so they don't question it. Their jobs are usually low paid and useless also. Like "dialogue tree writer" but the main writer overrides all their decisions and they don't know until it's too late. They put one bullshit line in the game to piss off "le gamers" that they know won't actually affect sales and that
woman feels like a pig in shit about it.

My original statement that sparked outrage I did state that businesses are still hiring women due to the legal requirements to do so. You are correct in that women are shoved into a department where they have limited exposure to men. I see this segregation to keep going until everything is segregated based on race, gender, and creed. Sad that all the work done by the civil rights movement is being undone willingly.

I noticed the podcast has been nuked. Here's a Google cache archive of one of the pages on this site, taken just a week or two ago.

Now it's marked as "lost broadcast", along with some others. Doing digging made me find out that Episode 43 featured Eric Blomquist who hasn't been involved in any drama of note (both links didn't work on the website archive) which makes me wonder if they genuinely lost those two episodes. Still it's sketchy as shit that they'd delete previous episodes with "lost broadcast" to cover for them.

However, by digging a bit more I was able to snap an image of the page and save the full mp3 file.

I see a lot of people (justifiably) feeling like "something needs to be done", but it's not happening here, and truth be told @Absolved Mediocrity and his investigation, god love his spirit, likely isn't going to amount to much. Unless he dug up screencaps of her telling people "Lol wouldn't it be funny if I made him off himself" I'm not seeing any scenario where Zoe faces any serious legal ramifications for this.

You'll need to be aiming for social ramifications for this, because I see absolute no legal route to take this. On that note, poking into the inner workings of The Indie Scene and their constant backstabbing and opportunism is almost certainly fertile ground. imo that was prime territory that should have been dug into more during Gamergate Proper.

During gamergate this wasn't really anything of note. It was Zoe Quinn and some other indie developer talking. Now with Alec's suicide this was cast in a whole new light and this was likely deleted to prevent the scary trolls from listening to it and picking it apart.

Yep when we found that two nights ago all of the timeline was verbally confirmed for me.
And I tried to find the host somewhere but haven't yet, we should get his take maybe on how they appeared to be acting to him, but since it's devices they were using to connect to him he most likely didn't see them physically.
