To anyone who didn't use a VPN and feels spooped: this is an intimidation tactic and nothing more. They can't do anything with your IP alone. They could potentially find out stuff about you with your email if you didn't use a throwaway, but that's it.

Furfags seem really obsessed jumping into early conclusions. Just like last time the farms was on downtime.
You can't kill something that is a part of you, you degenerates!

If they come to my house this is what they're gonna see.

Also I agree with @Dynastia
This is almost certainly a nothingburger (Except for retards who used their real info) and I want idiots to wave it around as an easy identifier for autism.

My email address made specifically for this website and my IP address that doesn't even come close to listing my general location might be compromised? I'm going to fucking commit not alive.

It's really funny to watch the premature celebrations roll in, though. For a site that they keep borderline-obsessive tabs on, you would think that they would be used to the occasional KF oopsie by now.

I'm assuming they're trying to target specific people, not doxx the entire userbase.
Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.
I assume they're just trying to spook people and send the message ""WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!11!" . Nothing will come of it.

Remember, kids, use VPNs and throwaway emails.

correct me if I'm wrong since I'm smooth brained at tech but an ip just gives a general area of where one lives, not a specific address, so they are just trying to find a needle in a haysack with that shit

What's the point of collecting IPs, though? Oh no, some furry troon knows my general location now.
If you're an ISP, or a popular site that has real-life info on its users like Google or Facebook, you can try and cross-correlate the time and the IP addresses, potentially narrowing it down to a single person. An ISP would already know that you use KF anyway, unless you're paranoid and use VPN despite the fact that laughing at idiots is still legal in the Free World.
If you're just a lolcow, you can't do diddly squat.

Gotta be Quinn's orbiters. Too many coincidental takedowns/DDoS'es in relation to the recent article unraveling her lies. They're desperate to figure out the identity of the user who keeps capping Quinn's "hidden" tweets on her protected account there.
Trannies tend to be extra exceptional cyber hackers too.
