I can't find the Poutine version
I see someone is taking my commentary to heart :story:

Seriously that's not how this works, that is not how ANY of this works. Some people might find a trans person attractive and not realize the person is trans, and some people will maybe still find that person attractive once they get the ol' pickle surprise, but that is rare in these cases. People will be attracted to what they want to be attracted to, and if that attraction doesn't include chicks with dicks or a dude with a vag then guess what shit isn't going to work. Trying to force that person to date you anyways will just end in a whole world of emotional hurt for everyone involved, and probably physical hurt if you really force yourself on that person. Shit like "The Crying Game" is the exception not the rule.

Really shouldn't have to explain this to an adult, but here we are.

The entire premise of the comic is that stephie was born a boy, but her penis was so small there was debate over what gender she was. Need I fucking say more.

I mean I’d only do it if it was convincing enough. That’s the inevitable reality that labelle refuses to accept.
Lol penis so small there was debate. That needs to be a randomtext.txt for this site.

I'm beginning to notice that Sophie's work is getting less and less effort towards actually presenting an argument. Even less so than usual, I mean. In their earlier comics, Sophie at least presents moon logic to support their stupid points against strawmen. It's where my favorite non-word from Sophie, "neurosexism," stems from. But now they can't even be bothered to attack the strawman, instead just insulting it by calling it fragile or unintelligent. And when they're not trying to argue a point, the comics are poorly constructed jokes with either a non-sequitor punchline or obnoxious one-liners.

Their comics were always lazy, but now they're also becoming quite mean-spirited. Which is not the word you want to hear when people are describing your comics meant for children.

If anything, the moral these recent comics are teaching is that you should yell at or insult anybody who disagrees with you, as anyone who does so is only antagonizing you. Which i suppose is the standard approach that actual adults seem to be taking to discourse these days, but it's certainly not something I would want to encourage my child to emulate.

Left-leaning views have been the social mainstream for so long now, that a whole generation has been raised without being exposed to dissenting viewpoints. They didn't arrive at their views through critical thinking; they just inherited them from the generation who did.

They've grown up with nothing but strawmen from the start, and this is the next step.

Frankly if a kid is reading these I don't think it making them pushy is the biggest problem
