If I might go on a bit of a rant here, not only does it reveal an embarrassing lack of self-awareness (not that that's a rare thing among LGBT people in general) but it's also massively disrepectful to the community as a whole.

I mean, how absolutely daft do you have to be, to think that, after decades of struggle for LGBT people to be accepted as normal members of society by the straight majority, it's somehow a good move to start insulting and alienating that straight majority on whose good will and acceptance your continued existence depends? There are literally still a lot of parts of the world where being gay carries a death sentence, offically or unoffically.

It just shows how little Lily actually struggled in her life because of her identity. Just the fact that she can openly identify as trans and gay makes her more priviledged than like 95% of all LGBT people on the planet anyway, but that she thinks it's acceptable for her to be a massive hypocrite and alienate the straight people for whose acceptance the community fought for for decades, shows how stupid and selfcentered she really is. She doesn't care that her actions reflect negatively on the community as a whole. She doesn't care that she's harming the community by fanning the hatred against them. She doesn't care that she's doing the exact same thing she condemns in others. She just wants the petty satisfaction of "sticking it to the straighties".

She's lived her entire life inside a comfortable little bubble and blatantly doesn't understand or care what things are like in the real world.

I think they're putting all their effort into their new project Little Town Hero. After all, it's Pokemon. Even with all the complaints and fan backlash, all those same people are still probably gonna buy the games anyways, so may as well work hard on something that won't sell on name recognition and hope for good reviews and word of mouth.
