Vancouver is basically the epitome of Hell World. Love how they talk about how they want to provide a "safe space" for women who are victims of trauma while allowing and in fact encouraging a man to walk around shirtless with an obvious hard-on to retraumatize all of those women.

Rate me "mad at the internet" because this shit infuriates me. The women coming to their shelter are, by and large, victims of male violence (both sexual and non), many fleeing from male abusers, and these sick fucks care more about looking PC than about protecting those women from being retraumatized and revictimized by the disgusting, deviant men they let in.

This is going to end up just like that one case in.. I think it was Australia maybe? Where some troon kept going to different women's shelters and raping the women there. I'd bet cash money it's already happened, but the women involved are too terrified to speak out - after all, women who refuse to share bedrooms and even showers with troons have been kicked out of homeless and crisis shelters already, multiple times, in the US and Canada.

These people should be the ones losing their funding, being boycotted, and shit. Not Vancouver Rape Relief, the only shelter in Vancouver that still gives a fuck about women - and they're currently getting death threats graffiti'd on their building by troons, dead animals hung on their building, etc. I can't believe people running a fucking shelter for women fleeing homelessness and male violence would care so much more about a man's right to impose himself on one of the most vulnerable populations of women than about the women they claim to want to help and protect. I just.. don't understand it.

Maybe you’re thinking of Christopher Hambrook? He was in Canada though, raped four women at different shelters in Toronto. He’d already had a conviction for molesting a 5 year old girl.

The area this shelter is in is also where Robert Picton went victim hunting. It’s a lot of poor women, prostitutes, etc.

the reddit troon community has gone to great lengths to conceal the truth. Current medical wisdom strongly suggests that they douche regularly, and prior to surgery they're really supposed to get full laser hair removal/electrolysis done to prevent hairballs (although few seem to nowadays). But it's much more fun to pretend you've got basically the real deal and can fool OB/GYNs.

It's essentially what people did to push the whole 'every woman has to have a child, your life is meaningless without child' stance. To do that childbirth has to appear to be a miracle, so heaven forbid anything negative gets discussed, and it wasn't.

Until a few years ago it was 'forbidden' for a woman to talk about shitting themselves when they were giving birth. Majority when pushed, will admit that it happened to them. It has taken a long time but now you can see the truth mentioned everywhere childbirth is spoken about.

The trans truth will eventually become known, unfortunately because society has become a oneupmanship shithole, there are going to be a lot of dead people out there before that happens, and I'm not just talking about the troons killing themselves. When multiples of them are all in the same hospitals, in the same wards, blaming everyone else for their own stupidity. They will start killing their family and friends for the same reasons that the delusional male in ATaxingWoman's post talks about.

I'm not sure honestly, there are so many sexual predators in the trans community that have been documented raping women in shelters, women's prisons, etc. that it's hard to keep them straight. But thank you for the info and link. (If I sound overly stilted it's not because I'm upset at being wrong, just generally fuming at the existence of these sick fucks and the way society just bends over and lets them do whatever they want as long as the casualties are "just" women.)

But not supporting them to being cis is. Seriously many of these parents of “transkids”, especially if the kid is really young, don’t give nearly the same attention if their kids behave gender conforming way. As unintentional it may be, they definitely give tons of positive feedback for gender nonconformity and little to no positivity if the kids are more stereotypical member of their gender. That behavior can screw kids self image right up. It can be difficult an adult to separate social pressure from what they personally want, that’s even more difficult for a kid. I remember one mom who took her son (about 5 if remember correctly) to unicorn ice cream for saying “I wanna grow up to be a girl”. I’m sure she wouldn’t have rewarded her son from saying “I wanna grow up to be a man”, at best she would have been “that’s nice dear”. Overall she very much encouraged him to dress and behave extremely girly. Then she was mad that other kids were not super welcoming for a boy in sparkly tutu in school. It’s pretty clear that the boy was at least partly just trying to make his mom happy but all she could see was that her boy was totally gender none conforming and maybe trans. She also had huge victim complex herself because ignorant people totally judges her for doing the right thing.

IMO. The comment from the troon is so disingenuous. Yes. There's nothing wrong with letting kids explore gender. There's nothing inherently wrong with letting little boys play with dolls, little girls play with trucks, etc. There's nothing really wrong with them wearing opposite sex clothing either because clothing isn't exactly gendered, although we certainly have expectations of which gender wears what and there is some level of bias towards wearing what matches our gender. BUT. There's a huge gap between allowing kids to explore outside the what is considered normal for their gender and the troon idea of blocking puberty, giving them opposite sex hormones, and fast tracking a healthy growing body to who knows what medical awful in the future in support 'them not conforming to gender norms'.

I never understood how in one breath they're pushing this idea that gender norms/concepts are toxic and harmful and should be done away with but every freakin' thing that's a 'tell' of being trans relates to something that is inherently tied to gender norms/stereotypes/expectations. This little boy likes to cook, play with dolls, play house, wear pink! He's a crybaby and emotional! He must actually be a girl! This little girl likes to play in the mud, play with trucks, wear overalls and blue! She's tough and never cries! She must actually be a boy. Explain transgenderism too me in a way that does not bring up; hobbies, toys, clothing, colors, - anything that relies on any gender stereotypes / expectations.

A child cannot; consent to sex, sign a contract, vote, drive, have a credit card, get a tattoo, get a piercing, live by themselves, cook, be left alone at home, drink alcohol, sign papers for school, the list goes on. As society accepts the are not yet at the point they can make decisions regarding all these things, and biology/science backs up that they're not mentally developed to that point, yet we're supposed to accept they know the full risks that come with haulting their actual growth? brain development? bone development? hormone affecting drugs? surgery? You give your pre-teen liquor, it's child abuse, you pop them full of puberty blockers? you're a goddamn saint.

This is the biggest societal scam ever and people are eating it up in the name of being 'progressive' and this overwhelming fear of being labelled a bigot and it's the saddest and most fucked up thing I've ever seen.

Before I look, I predict that the arguments for this will all boil down to your kids will off themselves if you don't push them to transition.

I saw that post on terfblr! It actually made me physically ill when I saw it. I remember reading an article about two women who were kicked out of a women's shelter because they refused to share a bedroom with a troon, it was absolutely disgusting. Another shelter threatened to evict women who objected even though what they were complaining about was being forced to literally shower with one of these men - as in, the shelter had enforced communal showers and this dude was fully naked in front of these women and would hit on them in the showers while obviously hard and even touching himself, and the shelter protected him 100% and told the women that if they complained or did anything to make him feel "unwelcome" they'd be thrown out on the streets.

It's sick, it's so fucking sick and I just don't have any words for it anymore. These are the women who have gotten the worst deal our society has to offer - except maybe for women in prison, who are also being subjected to sexual harassment, rape and assault and the hands of these men! - and they are among the most vulnerable in our society, and they're being forced to endure even more trauma at the hands of men because these men's "identities" are literally considered more important than these women's safety and lives. It's disgusting. I don't know how anyone justifies this shit.

But VRR gets "kill terfs" spray-painted on their windows, scaring away women who would otherwise seek help from them, because they actually give a shit about the women these other shelters claim to serve. It's enough to make a girl lose her lunch.

I used to do freelance computer repair.

It gets better.

So we're sitting around getting buzzed with Vinnie and some other guys and getting lapdances without asking (apparently he'd nodded us as VIPs or something) and I ask what the deal is with the two-dollar bill, and I shit you not, Vinnie — pretty fucking buzzed by this point — proceeds to go into a three-minute patriotic spiel about who every one of these guys are, what the significance of the original painting is, and why it's so important to him and Darrell.

I'm just listening to this, and he stops when the song stops, and then he downs the beer, and says "Nah I'm just fucking with ya. It makes the girls get tipped better." and grabs another beer.

I took the hint.

I looked it all up later and it was all 100% spot-on.

On the back of the $2 bill, there's a person that isn't on the original painting.

Love the flower headband. He's really channeling his inner toddler girl and showcasing his youthful exuberance. I was going to say he didn't pass, but then I saw the dainty flowers adorning his head like a fairy halo and that attention to detail really made all the difference. +1 for the bold pink color he selected for his obligatory choker to hide his Adam's apple. Everyone in their lives. It's in the popular media they consume, the social media. It's being taught in their schools and by their parents. Children are being bombarded with this shit constantly.

The gay ones and the autistic girls are mostly getting it from parents who are desperate not to have a gay kid - their children are gender non-conforming and they're terrified, but trooning them out not only gets them social progressiveness points and minor celebrity (aka $$$), but it also gives them a "straight" "gender-conforming" child that they can love safely without having to think about potential icky gayness. (Autistic girls fall into this category because they tend to be gender non-conforming so their parents worry they'll be gay.)

The more "normal" seeming ones (or the GNC ones with less terrible parents) are mostly radicalized by online communities of adult troons who desperately push the idea on kids that if they ever do anything even remotely gender non-conforming, they must be trans, and the idea that trans people are the only ones who matter, that being trans is the best thing ever, etc. etc.

And that's not even getting into the other adults in their lives who might be pushing them to go trans like teachers, older "trans kids", and even their radicalized peers. Pretty horrifying stuff.
