So I just had a thought reading through this. I never understood their hate for Goblin Slayer. It's the story of a guy who slaughters literal rapists by the truckload.

The tl;dr is that the rape is highly sexualized and glorified, designed to titillate too often and never treated with the proper seriousness, because the animanga refuses to actually develop characters. It's ultimately just a crappy anime that tries to tone goblin rape hentai down to ecchi to make it a normal anime. The laziness shows in its poor world building and the fact that basically all the characters are just ripped from other games/anime and given a generic class name instead.

More importantly, though, it doesn't focus enough on 'rapists bad, kill rapists' for SJWs to ever accept it.

Actual version: I said Hi to Vic, he ignored me, I am triggered.

What really happened: Lottie shouted some profanity at Vic. Vic either didn't hear her or smartly just ignored her. She decided he was actually just slinking away in shame. Later she came across him, and he turned away from her either because he could tell she was hostile and he had no interest in interacting with her, or completely unrelated to her. Telling that story would leave too much room for people to properly interpret it, though, so she added a bit about him being embarrassed.

The poor, stupid girl just doesn't understand that no one would actually be embarrassed by her outburst of tourettes, they'd just think she was being inappropriate and annoying.

Now for the sequel of autistism, but this time, a third party who can't help but try to lecture both sides with a lack of understanding as a whole. It's the fact that this person tries to make ISWV to be just as bad as KV, but that's not even getting into the downright lies this is filled with about ISWV

Okay, they started out okay, just slightly twisting the truth to create a false equivalency, but then they jumped so far into the kickvic claims about ISWV that it just looks like someone who's anti-ISWV pretending to be neutral. I think the general thread is a nice thread. It's nice to have a space about this whole thing where we can all come together to talk about it generally as a whole. All the important bits have their own separate threads and it's a good way to keep our autism funneled to where it belongs instead of it getting everywhere in an unholy mess.

Okay I got today's discussion point since its been on my mind and nobody else has brought it up yet.

On the subject of GFMs, the fact that Greg definitely grifted this recent one has been on my mind. They all complain about Nick/Ty/Vic and the single GFM that they made, yet...

The number of people on the KV side who have inserted themselves into the drama, gained followers/an audience, and subsequently made GFMs is something to think about.
Some people have been notorious for making them in the past but the amount of shilling skyrocketed when they had eyes on them.

Am I the only one who noticed that? I mean, I'm not doing a formal tally but there's a handful of people who are prominent in KV's proverbial bullpen who have done so.

I think by repeating the word "grift" as often as they do, it has gone devoid of meaning. So far, they have been scammed 4 times this year at the very least. Hands up, morons.
