Met Mags few times at a con, and I can confirm - it looks exactly like this. We spoke few times, first through mutual friends and then when I was walking the floor, because her table always looked miserable like that, so why not chat?

And honestly- she is exactly what you expect after her twitter, maybe a bit more dimmed, but still know it all without even having ALL information or consideration that her perspective is not all there is. I kinda wish this particular conversation wasn't as specific at it was, because it was a doozy and made me laugh internally a lot.

At least for the time being, IDW has cancelled the Black Crown comic, Marilyn Manor. From writer Magdalene Visaggio, artist Marley Zarcone and colorists Irma Kniivila and Tamra Bonvillain, the series only managed to put a single issue on shelves back in June, then was hit with several delays. Issues #2-4, along with the series’ collection of Marilyn Manor, are officially cancelled.

The comic tells the story of the president’s rebel of a daughter and her friend Abe, who’s possessed by the spirit of Abraham Lincoln, as they throw an absolute rager while the White House undergoes a 17 day black out. Along the way, they stumble upon scandalous government secrets, take part in séances, uncover secret passages and if it wasn’t already clear that this is a Visaggio script, well, it is now. The writer’s beloved creativity along with interiors from top notch artists brought rave reviews from critics and fans alike.

IDW released the following statement, per Newsarama “We deeply appreciate all the hard work that Magdalene Visaggio, Marley Zarcone, Irma Kniivila, Tamra Bonvillain, and Shelly Bond dedicated to Marilyn Manor, and the enthusiasm and support from the fans. Unfortunately, with heavy hearts, we are cancelling this project. We hope to have the opportunity to work with these talented creators on future projects.”

No official reason for the cancellation has been given, nor have the creators mentioned the cancellation on social media at time of writing.
