Unless you have a doctorate in physiognomy a lot don't look that different from below average looking ciswomen. And even then, women aren't dainty flowers, especially if they're Slavic. Once again, these are all surface-level changes to their appearances, like makeup, long hair, and earrings. They don't understand that their giant shoulders, huge jaw, and scraggly face gives them away. It's face blindness to the point where I could feasibly believe they've only heard about what a woman looks like in writing.
I can't think of an apt analogy to the "how well do I pass" question, because I feel like it's something you should realistically be able to answer. You're the one trying to emulate something, shouldn't you be able to tell for yourself if you look like what you're trying to copy?
