Also in the same vein as Funi being merged with Aniplex, apparently RT's CEO and CCO went bye bye and were replaced by a placeholder.

Yeah Vic wasn't fired. He just left early to avoid the rush. I'll be amazed to see anything recognizable of either Funi or RT left by the end of the 1st Quarter 2020.

Huuwhat?! Sources man. Sources!

Edit: Found some. The way RT's year is going Rial is going to recant AND give up details on Sabats casting couch just as RWBY V7 starts. And RT will shrug and go "We can't re-record." Thus cutting an innocent man out while keeping a rapist in.

Good job RT. Good Job.

Burnie Burns, co-founder of Rooster Teeth, announcing he is stepping down as CCO:

Matt Hullum, co-founder of Rooster Teeth, is no longer CEO and is replacing Burns:

The CEO position is now being held by Jordan Levin, CEO of Awesomeness:

oh no, what a truly terrible thing. someone help, i cant contain all of this sadness.

its a shame that roosterteeth is slowly (read rapidly) losing/dropping everything that made them entertaining for the sake of their fragile go and asspats.

The comments on the blog posts are so sad. "You guys did so well!" Until they plowed into the fucking ground.

I figured "them damn alt-righters" would be more in line.

nothing says we value you like a customer quite like telling you to stop being poor and give us more money.

That was actually an unpaid forum mod who is a white knighting douchebag.

Also, Barbara Dunkleman (The VA for Yang) is the new creative director. Be afraid?
My pet theory is that she is actually the one that started the whole thing.

Basically after devoting her hot-looking fertile years trying to land the chad she was ultimately spurned for younger version of herself by a lifelong bactchelor. She was so pissed she dedicated her exiastience to destroying him by getting industry buddies like Rial, Marchi et al to make his life a misery. She shared her harrowing stories and emails with the SJWs of the industry- and it being a sisterhood and #metoo being such a successful weapon in other showbizz genres - the wheels were set in motion. A plot is hatched on PULL, and suddenly all these 'victims' emerge.

If we have learnt nothing else from classic theatre ( and life) we have learnt that " Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".
So John Tucker Must Die?

dont want your representatives representing you poorly? vet them better and give clear instructions.

I agree with you. I was pointing out that it wasn't an "official fuck you from Rooster Teeth." Just a Mod having an emotional Sperging over people crying about subscription increases.

Creative director for comedy I believe. So... I'm guessing this isn't going to turn out well. "CuckCon" style antics will be coming.

Was RWBY really that big a deal? I stopped watching their stuff after they made Red vs Blue serious and it was obvious that Burnie was stroking himself at this point.

rwby started good. not a perfect series, had many flaws but you felt like the creator was putting his all into it to make something he thought was fun and cool. then he died and the people that took over clearly dont have that passion and are driving it into the dirt because they refuse to acknowledge criticism that is "gurgle gurgle gurgle, your dicks taste great"

Been watching Fruits Basket and listening to Chris Sabat as Ayame after years of not having heard it, I have come to the horrifying realization his Aya voice is in the same frequency as his Mister Popo and Guru voices (mind you, he's also Zarbon), especially as they sound in the orgy sound clip. I know the character is as flamboyant and campy as they come for a man who's probably bi, but it's giving me chills. Especially with the "Top or bottom--I choose to be the bottom!" speech that I sincerely doubt is from the actual script. :cryblood:

(Bit unnecessary commentary, but I just have to say that while the new Fruits Basket anime is beautiful to look at, the pacing is slow and the comeic timing is off. It's been years since I last watched the original anime, but I can still remember how it hit all the comedic points perfectly, and not just because it was beat-for-beat from the manga. TMS dropped the ball here in that aspect. Kinda disappointing. The dub's a bit off, too, here and there. Probably attributed to the voice actors having aged, but I dunno, doesn't have the same passion behind it like in the original.)
