Is there inpatient treatment programs for Munchhausen’s ?because that would be the only way to work out what is real and what is fake but it would need to be done properly and not just a deny everything possible way like what does amplified pain programs are stupid and don’t fuck all for patients with real pain

We're still unsure whether or not Munchausen's can be treated. There have been attempts but no long term follow-up studies on patients who underwent psychiatric treatment for it, so well you don't really know what eventually happened to them.

Since it's commonly comorbid with BPD I'd probably suggest treating that first with DBT, and then maybe flipping the script to where you get them becoming a whole food plant-based vegan warrior in recovery from chronic illness, which is another route for social media attention that they can use. It's much less dangerous than them continually self-harming fucking around with their cvcs.

The idea of social media attention as an impetus toward recovery made me realize that the first high-profile munchie to switch gears and come out as, well, a munchie is probably going to get a ton of attention and have a whole new field all to herself. Tears, regret, "I was so broken inside that I tried to make my outsides match," quoting statistics about how super super rare Munchausen's is . . . I wonder how long it will be.

Ensure is absolutely delicious in comparison. It just tastes like whey protein powder. TBH I kind of like the coffee and dark chocolate flavors.

Kate Farms is cloying, chalky, gritty, slightly bitter, oily and earthy all at the same time. It has that pea protein texture that never really dissolves and the lipids they use coat your tongue and leave a film. I thought it was sweetened by stevia but i just looked online and I guess the quinoa and/or kale is what gives it the bitter nasty aftertaste.

I've been following a a girl called Bernadette Crisp (Bee) who runs a page called Bee's World Through My Eyes, for a while now. She's one of the biggest munchies I have come across. She claims to have a mystery Degenerative Neurological Disease that know one knows about. But constantly regains abilties she had lost and if any one questions her or her family their instantly blocked. She has also fraudulently raised money for things she doesn't need then spends it on cheeper versions of what she "needs" and spends the rest on herself. Her and her family are absolutely vile. Especially when there are people out there who genuinely struggle. It's all a huge piss take

is it possible to have lupus and hEDS? I know the criteria has info about being diagnosed with an acquired CTD but it’s kind of confusing to me

and yes, this is a clinic that doesn’t accept insurance and it’s $400 an hour for an “invisible illness” appointment.
