It's funny how KVers like to bring up how "evil" ISWV is and how no one on the KV side has NEVER, EVER wished harm on Vic or anyone else. Yet all it takes is a few Google and Twitter searches to see the complete opposite.

I know I've said it a couple times but I am looking hard at Justin Cook being a source. Head of Production, probably has access to computer files going back to early 2000s. He's definitely a candidate for the Funi leaks. On one stream, Nick brings his name up and acts indifferent or sympathetic toward him, then in another stream he is berating him. Coulda been a coverup, and/or a situation like you described.

The Tokyopop manga worded it to "If it comes down to 'attack' or 'accept', I choose to 'accept'!", "YOU IDIOT!!!" So if anything, the reboot anime made it more explicit in the script, as this isn't something I recall in the 2001 anime. It's a funny scene, one of my favorites from the series, but it's unfortunately been soured knowing about Chris' antics in the workplace that hearing it coming from him made me want to cough up blood.

I'm bothered anyone that pretty would be voiced by Chris. That is just not a good match. He voices macho men, not pretty men.

I think you guys put a bit too much stock on Glassdoor reviews.

For every employee who thinks their workplace is incompetent, there is another that loves it and thinks it is run smoothly. For every employee that is miserable, another is cheery and optimistic. People with the less cushy jobs are always gonna be more negative than the top dogs. And lets face it, these reviews are most likely from DISGRUNTLED, FORMER, LOWER LEVEL employees.

I'm not saying that I doubt these accounts, it's just that you guys seem to think they are the end-all be-all for these companies' outlooks and how they're run.

You should consider what's being complained about in negative reviews. Funimation talks about how there's no HR, how nepotism and sex are the only way to move up, and how the rules aren't applied evenly to their employees. With Aniplex we see that it's apparently run more like a Japanese company than an American one (so strict), that it's not nice and cushy, and that people are expected to run themselves. There's a distinctly different tone from Funimation's trashfire and Aniplex being unable to translate their workplace from a Japanese kind of one to an American one.

Okay, true, but few pull it off like Armstrong. The boy in that panel doesn't seem to have an ounce of masculinity in his body. Sabat might be able to voice pretty macho boys, but straight up pure pretty boys? Seems weird.

Kurogane and Fai are basically the exact same importance in the anime, so there's some argument for him being jealous if only Vic got voicing credit on a cover. But I imagine not, since unlike Monica Rial, Chris actually has fans, and so will have had top billing other places.

Agreed. It always annoyed me that Monica screamed constantly about threats and harassment... I'm sure Vic has received an equal amount of awful and ugly messages if not more than her.
