Correct me, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone use Jiahoe or whatever as a last name. Asian last names, that is.

Just look at these sloppy drawings and half-baked designs, these descriptions that tell you nothing about any of them. There is no way they spent so much time pondering the ethnic backgrounds for these characters and how these cultures mixed in their households, how it affected their upbringing...no, this was just pumped out for woke points and that's all. This is how woke OC making worked in like....2013. Get with the times before someone cancels you, kid.

Often times for this I just go on tumblr and search "trans character name" and see if something funny happens. Most of the time nothing does, usually it's just generic flag shit. That's not funny. But when something funny does happen,

it is b l i s s. The bliss then fades away when you realize that someone drew this unironically.

It's not like goals, ideals, motivations and relations to other characters would be the first thing the audience cares about. Nah, we want to know what junk they have what other junk they want to smash it with.

Nationality would be a good point to talk about because that affects your upbringing, morals and environment but I think the artist fails to see that as something more than just labels. Only one of these characters have a single nationality so that's what gives it away for me. Gotta have more labels, more, more because randomly mixing nationalities will win Brownie points for some reason?

Also, isn't nationality the country that you're living in? I think ethnicity might be a better word as it seems that the artist is talking about heritage rather than what character lives in what country.

I mean, it would still be wrong. For example, "chinese" is not an ethnicity. "Han" and "Uyghur" are ethnicities, among the 54 other ethnic groups living in China.

It might have been cool if they were humanized versions of different turtle species but for some reason they're all humans except for one character that doesn't appear to do anything or be consequential in any way even though the name suggests this would be our main character or at least a driving force in the story.

And for any of you who have never been to the Momokun thread, when you surgically remove fat, it doesn't come back. That's why obese post-op FTMs look so weird-- your brain knows fat men have moobs. And generally this shape indicates not just fat, but gynecomastia-- breast tissue.
