Megathread Tranny Sideshows on Social Media - Any small-time spectacle on Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, Dating Sites, and other social media.

Replace the drama with personal safety and you have the reason why that thread is locked.
Yeah, the mistake they made was admitting that there were safety concerns. Don't know whether they meant they feared the new friend would try to hit on them or if they were afraid the group would be targeted by people in public because the friend was trans. But, they should never admit to that because the troon police will come swooping in to ticket you for crimes against troon feelings.

Should have just said, it is a girl's night and you are a guy. Sorry. No guys allowed. Friend can't be mad if they are being recognized as being a true and honest male and excluded for that reason only.

I interpreted it as the troon's behavior possibly attracting attention the women did not feel like dealing with, not that she would become a threat against them per se. Still a valid concern to have.

Lesson: someone you love posting tranny lewds? Say nothing, forget everything. The trooniverse has him now.

The comments are unquestionably worth checking out. I can't do it myself right now, though.

Am I the only one who cannot load these links? It always says it can't connect to Reddit for me.

You can always tell when you should ignore or do the opposite of what somebody advises if they preface what they say with "yikes."

When archiving reddit links, always make sure to use "old.reddit.com" instead of "www.reddit.com." Nu-reddit fucks with archival sites and won't archive all the comments.

Most of it is same old, same old. People complaining -- troons showing up to call people terfs or transphobes. Transwomen are women. We're not taking over your spaces, yada yada.

Ironically, after the whole Rhys McKinnon "any sexual orientation but pansexuality is immoral" fiasco on twitter -- there are still troons denying that people are being pressured to consider sleeping with troons.

This one claims that a trans person telling someone to "examine her preferences" is nothing more than TERF propaganda.

Another denier. But, user duglock throws in some truth.

This one is trolling and mentions another cow, Jessica Yaniv.

The same people with the #believewomen hashtags are the same ones immediately saying "that never happens" when lesbians actually start complaining about the state of things within their community.

Just the terven at it again with their propaganda, I guess.

This reminds me of I think a legal advice about a troon being made to use the bathrooms across the street from their work. Obviously this is a legit problem but sparked the usual bathroom debate. Comments were full of women saying "I don't have a problem with it so neither should anybody else. And if you do you're wrong"

The instant troonism is brought up, it gets the spotlight and shoves everyone else off the stage (full stop!), like making certain to name transmen in abortion debates. Acknowledge the trannies first, then you may talk about the original topic which is 100% unrelated to troonism.

If the op asks their nephew and he says no, he is not trans should they still call him she? Just in case?

Since Rebel Lucy seems to be going nowhere, I'll just drop the conversation they had with me after (and a little bit before) I posted their info, since most of the entertainment from Rebel Lucy will now just mostly stem from their attempts to damage control the people mocking them.

A big thing to note is the first post where they act quite polite to me. The reason for it, as I believe, is because of their naivete. Before this exchange, they said they were leaving the thread but kept posting, and I said doing so was "disappointing to people like me who thought you were being honest." Rebel Lucy, rather than taking that as the blatant and thinly-veiled message telling them to go away which it obviously was, instead understood it as me somehow being genuinely disappointed and that I actually was upset they weren't the honest person I supposedly perceived them to be.

This misinterpretation of a sarcastic quip as camaraderie is what prompted them to share their actual information with me, and they happily misunderstood the irreverent response I followed up with. Furthermore, there's a variety of things which are just amusing, such as calling me a TERF when I'm not trans-exclusionary nor a radical feminist (rather I really just dislike stupid people), saying I posted their info as a personal attack (when what I posted was just matter-of-fact information like as I am doing right now), and claiming that they don't care I had shared their info (despite now deleting everything linked to their account's name, which doesn't matter since it's all archived anyway).
