Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

As thus picture shows, she's become that girl who wears things sizes too small, like this bikini top, which her boobs cannot fit into. She can look ok when she wears the proper size and more flattering outfits - she's a definite smallfat by FA standards - but one of the tenets of this movement seems to be deliberate bad clothing choices for your body size and shape presented as 'empowerment'.

And tons of photoshopping/filter use to prove how confident you are in your own body!

When was the last time you saw a stretch mark on one of these people? Let's be real.

Oh, for sure.

She has a whole video about how she used to facetune everything to look better and made the usual body-poz fuss about how she was never going to 'shoop herself thinner or better-looking ever again. Total nonsense, as you point out. Even these plus size models like Iskra Lawrence or actresses who make giant fusses for piety points about how they 'demand' they are 'never' photoshopped in magazines or whatever are, in fact, shopped in many ways because all media campaigns are highly edited. Maybe not as extensively as they would normally be, but they are, because nothing gets in modern media without being corrected in multiple ways. Smoothing out what what normally be at least a little textured or dimpled flesh into these utterly smooth, curvy creatures is the biggest giveaway.

Someone like Sierra who won't even admit what size she really is and will never give out measurements so people can figure it out for themselves is never going to really put up pics that show the reality of their weight gain. I don't blame them for that, I just thinking they are massive hypocrites for jumping on the 'warts and all' fashion and claiming 'no filters' while still obviously using every posing trick, lighting and editing tool they can to look better.

Yes, you know you're irreparably fat, whiny, and hideously annoying when an African refugee ditches your huge white sugarmama ass.

And Sierra Schultzzie is another can of worms, omg. She lies so much about being a size 12:

Sierra next to an actual Size 10-12...

The only people she is able to fool into believing this stuff are young impressionable girls. Just because you can squeeze your ass and thunder thighs into the same size swimsuit at the girl on the left doesn't mean you should!

That "actual size 10-12" has her hips tilted back for that fake thigh gap. It's an IG classic pose and hides the fact that girl is probably the same size as Sierra.

Forgive the cut off, not my edit

I'd put them both around size 16.

Edit: I had not considered the UK sizing system.

Are those UK sizes? These models look slimmer to me than US 8 through 16. Marie Meyer in particular looks more like a US 4 in her modeling portfolio.

The models look absolutely congruent with UK sizing to me. The 12 looks like a tall UK 12, which is a US 8. A US 12 is a UK 16 and there's no way that model is a UK 16.

ETA: Yeah, marie's measurements at 32/24/35 are about a UK 8 aka a US 4. And she's 5' 10". Rachel Boss is 5' 11" and has measurements around a standard UK 12 or US 8, 34/27/36, maybe a bit smaller on the hip than an average UK 12 though. Candice Joy Huffine is 38/33/44 at 5' 10.5" which is about a UK 16.

Both Sierra and her friend are considerably shorter and larger in their measurements than any of these women. I believe Sierra is 5' 5" and though she claims to be a US 12, or UK 16, she's much bigger. The other girl claims to be a 14 and is I think 5' 8 or 9 which seems accurate. Sierra is probably a UK 18-20 now.

Hahaha did one of you do this??

She goes on a rant in the next few stories about anonymous reporting as though she doesn't do the same thing herself whenever she sees someone being "fat phobic".

First few stories are about her teaching herself to "stim" (autism thing) by taking really hot baths and getting tattoos?? I don't think she even has a clue what she's talking about.

I have a feeling one of her non-hate followers may have legitimately reported her. She's labeled some of her stupid musings as "pro-suicide," lol.

Also, yeah, stimming is not taking a hot bath. Stimming is typically stuff like flapping one's hands or twirling around like a weirdo. It's mostly some form of repetitive movement as far as I can tell. This freak desperately wants to have autism, but I think she just has severe anxiety like other people have said.

Autism just sounds a lot cooler than high anxiety I guess. High anxiety is usually co-morbid with autism, but having high anxiety doesn’t mean you have autism. It amazes me that people would actually want autism. Sure, there’s high functioning autism, but many people forget about the moderate and severe autism. Moderate to severe autism makes independence even harder and the chances of employment are low to nonexistent in moderate to severe autism compared to high functioning autism. This lady doesn’t seem to have many issues socially, besides just being unpleasant. I’ve never heard of taking a bath as stimming. It really annoys me that others will claim to have autism and give the wrong impression of what autism is. It’s people like her that make those diagnosed with autism get taken less seriously.

Right, like I hear some crazy fat Munchie-esque queerbeast saying she has "autism" that's relieved by a hot bath. Anyone old and gross like me who remembers "Calgon, take me away"? A bath is relaxing and calms the nerves. Stop trying to pretend you're a special puzzle piece when you're really just a basic benzo bitch, Kelly.

It seems like almost all FA have some sort of disorder or disability that they use as a crutch. Autism isn’t one of the more claimed disorders by FA, but I definitely see anxiety, depression, binge eating and anorexia in this group. I guess they need those extra things to justify why they got as fat as they did.
Another thing I’ll see are many obviously straight FA claiming to be “queer” too. Same as the munchie thing, it’s like they need this identity to be more of a victim.
They probably can’t grasp the fact that they made themselves fat and in order to cope, they give themselves all these other identities to hide behind the lack of self control. If being fat was one of the greatest things to be a victim of, shouldn’t identifying as fat be enough? I guess it is not in the FA world, so they need more identities to define themselves by instead of getting better.

I don't care that you're fat and 'confident, I'm annoyed that your article has no internal logic.

-Says suggesting her confidence is unusual in a fat person means her commenters are implying that fat is a reason not to be physically confident.

-Goes on to talk about how culture taught her to believe fat was a reason not to be physically confident and she's had to personally consciously unlearn this. And it's difficult.

-Maybe the commenters acknowledging the same 'fatphobic' culture you complain about are also raised in that culture and quite rightly understand its unusual and difficult to be bopo and fat. You can't infer that they're tacitly endorsing it by acknowledging it.

Just because you feel sexy it doesn't mean fat just became the new beauty standard. And if it did you'd have nothing to base your personality around.
