So I'm referring to everyone who acts exceptional to victimize themselves crisis actors from now on.

Jamie, Monica, the Yost twins, (Michelle doesn't get a spot here because she can't act), MBA is about to get there, Marzgurl, TUG every time someone points out how much of a disaster he is, Pridemore. Can't prove that anything happened but they were actually there and there were real tears shed

Dominique Skye is just a crisis, as is Ron.

Very hot takes hour. I think they are trying to attack the GFM for the nth time just in case Vic appeals. These hoes and white knights be scurred of having to answer for their crimes.
So they completely misinterpret that chat log, screw up the time line and make more shit up? Their gross incompetence is absolutely astounding.

I remember chapped asscheeks there, he was one of the first Law Twitter spergs I had to block on Twitter.

I pointed out that he was getting In Re: Lipsky not only wrong, but completely 180 degreess ass fucking backwards, and BOY HOWDY he wanted to let me know that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and that he was a lawyer and thus I should bow down and let him dunk on me so maybe Popehat would give him permission to cum.

Seriously, they sperged out on me for about 8 days straight, just all going in big circles where they'd get shit proven wrong and just go in a big circle back until they started with their first talking point. If one got BTFO'd, some other one would show up and do the exact same circle with the exact same talking points in the exact same fucking order. All while they jerked each other off with likes and retweets constantly. Thouands of fucking notifications.

I guess his new fanfiction is that Nick is a "former lawyer?" That's cute, considering Bettik, IIRC, is an "academic lawyer." I.e., he got a useless law degree but can't be fucking bothered to actually practice law. But he's also not good enough or charismatic enough to do a youtube channel or blog, so... Law Twitter it is.

Great Value brand lawtwits really have to remind you that they're the Walmart generic brand over and over and over again.

Took the bar exam in the toilet paper aisle.

Can it be filed before Chupp decides how much to award the defense re: legal fees + sanctions?

And I'm calling it now: Chupp will try and award them the entire Go Fund Me amount as sanctions. Because of course he will.
No clue, the whole thing is retarded, but I also thought they had 30 days to get the appeal in from El Chupo's writ.

It seems I have to repeat myself.
That is irrelevant, what Chupp did was dumb but it is within the boundaries of the kind of power he has as a Judge.
He can not say “say that’s a nice gfm you have it’d be a shame if I took it away from you”. That is not how awarding attorney fees work. That is not how a judge works. That is not how GFM works.
What you asked is literally not something a Judge could do. He can award attorney fees POTENTIALLY, he can still tell them no you cannot have them even at the event of Vic losing, but he cannot say “hey literally all that money, yeah that GFM belongs to the defendants now”

You don't seem to understand the difference between fees and damages.
Chupp can't award more than what the defendants paid.

And IANAL but...
The TCPA states that the plaintiff will only be ask to pay reasonable fees.
Usually, anti-SLAPP motions are filed right away, so any discovery expenses might be considered unreasonable.

And you're not a lawyer too, so you should really stop extrapolating stuffs that aren't on the same level.
Chupp ruling was sloppy, true, but what you're suggesting seems far beyond being simply sloppy.

TL;DR: MBA sperg'd one Saturday night and his wife got scared, So he's moving his own family off to somewhere!

Nigger needs to get himself a Snoopy Snack and calm down.

It is difficult to predict what he will do yes, but predict things that he can do, not what idiots on twitter say he can do when he cannot do it.

I think the point people are trying to make is "Chupp's a Maverick. He follows his own law."

Chupp can attempt to order something. Whether Chupp can follow through is another question.

I mean Chupp giving a huge amount to the defense would be counter to his trying to get rid of this case right? If he was trying to do that. I mean that would incentivize Vic to appeal, but if it was reasonable and not too expensive it may just go away.

And my point is we need to consider things which are what is actually within Chupp’s power, instead of fear mongering things what isn’t within his power.

@Mister Y explains it much better but what is being suggested is illogical.

It not only can, it has to be if that's after October 24.

The TCPA requires an award of fees and sanctions. The sanctions can be nominal, i.e. $1.
