Okay. Something definitely doesn't seem right here. He seems schizophrenic. One moment "I didn't know why she was let go." Next "They were valid."

Nadolny asking to be kept out of this situation seems off. Then again if she was going to come forward she probably would have done so by now.

Eagerly awaiting appeals to be announced. Watching KickVic take a victory lap after Chupp turned in a judgement written like a high school sophomore is extremely grating.

Personally just waiting. Thought Chupp was a little exceptional since he is in essence on record willfully ignoring the plaintiff's evidence folder, and saying he didn't need it cause he had the defense's folder. We'll see though. Perhaps Vic chooses not to appeal, who knows.

That being said; I think he knew it would end up in appeals either way and just decided 'fuck it'.

I'm optimistic about the appeals, but in somewhat anxious suspense waiting to hear Vic/Ty/Nick actually announce them. I'm not really mad at anyone, but I'll be disappointed if this whole thing ends because of a lazy judge.

I'm optimistic about appeals. Otherwise, it's waiting and watching internet idiots be internet idiots.

I kinda feel it in my bones though... something stupid will happen soon for no other reason than someone thinks something has to be happening at all times. Something like someone kicking off the next MeToo or someone does another victory lap and let's out a freudian slip.

MBA blowing up was the big sideshow after last week's decision. It's mostly been watching KV doing victory-spedlaps. Most of the spergs that chunked up the board got it out of their system about 50 pages back, the board's been mostly cautiously

about appeals otherwise.

First, we have no idea if Vic is appealing or not. Last time Ty was on with Nick, Ty had not spoken with Vic about it.
I'm sure you will hear about it if he does.
As for being "unhappy" with Ty, "disappointed" seems to be a better term. Those sloppy filings may or may not have affected the case's direction at this point (that and Chupp's lazy, appeal-on-sight ruling).
Mad at Nick? Not really.

Count me as pessimistic, but part of that is simply just because I don't really see what good will come out of the legal fight anymore unless A) the Appeals suit is a blowout against the KV douchebags or B) Either some form of discovery or new damning evidence was brought in which from what I understand won't be allowed. Again I want to stress that this is my take on the legal fight. I'm somewhat more optimistic outside that. I just want to see Funimation either go or be pretty much completely restructured.

I think that Vic has a good case, so I hope he appeals. Otherwise, I feel like it's kinda pointless for me to get angry at Beard and Nick, if only because Chupp is THAT goddamn stupid.

Dunno, i think the appeals might succeed. Not all cause though. I think Jamie is out completely. TI not passing is the most retarded shit ever and Chupp is retarded to fucking deny that. I think funi may have a chance to also get out of this but nothing is guaranteed.

I think Ty is not an idiot as some people say but he aint an amazing lawyer either. Seems likes hes got a lot on his plate and his firm obviously deal with more than just Vic's case but this "i give as good as they give me" mentality backfired heavily on him when Chupp decided he didnt want nothing to do with the lawsuit. Last minutes filings was an exceptional thing to do.

Dunno why would anyone be mad at Nick though.

I wholly blame Chupp. While Ty did do some fuckups, they were relatively minor and shouldn't have really affected the case, especially against the main defendants (Funimation and their soymunchers especially).

Chupp acted way outside of procedure from the word "go", was clearly having massive issues from the beginning in figuring out what law even meant, and seemed to be biased in general even if it not's explicit.

I don't know if he's just mentally unfit for the pressure of a Judge, too lazy to bother with the basics, has some mild liberal/#believeallwamyn programming, or simply just a dumbass.

Mind you I'm just a retard who likes looking into law, but I see no reason why this wouldn't be easily appealed, and to get Chupp shoved off far away from this case if Ty plays his cards right, which he bloody well should considering the absolute mess the Judge has made of the court.

I'm far more annoyed than mad because he was overly confident for a long time that the case was a surefire win.

On another note, whatever happened with Haberkorn's suit against Pridemore (or was it somebody else)? Is that still a thing? Did they settle?
