I love how Biden's been completely tight-lipped about this whole Ukraine thing out in public and he's been refusing to conduct any interviews about it to try and just make it seem like it doesn't matter, but behind the scenes his campaign team is still going absolutely fucking ass-mad on every media company they can find who publishes a story about it.

"Freedom of the press" indeed, so long as you only publish what Biden wants you to publish. He learned a lot from Obama.

Lets assume for a MOMENT neither Joe Biden NOR John Kerry did anything corrupt in sacking the prosecutor who was going after the country that hired their kids grift. There was no deal to make money or support the kids grift.

Its inappropriate because YOUR KID had a deal with the company being prosecuted Joe. If Trump sanctioned a country for LEGITIMATE REASONS that refused to give Ivanka a legally appropriate deal that would also be INAPPROPRIATE you fucking mong

My wife has a friend whos brother just tested positive.

He literally said it wad no big deal and it would be cured soon. I somehow dont think his risky behavoir will stop with that sort of attitude

Pretty much. Risky practices are endemic to the LGBT community simply because they don't want to have other people interfere in their fun.

No, it wasn't a huge hit; but it was reasonably well known among dystopia and alt-history circles. Same with Man in the High Castle. They wouldn't have gotten adaptations if they were flops.

I think the most ironic part about the newfound popularity of The Handmaid's Tale is that it's very popular in those woke atheist dangerhair circles where it's perfectly fine to bash Christianity over the smallest of grievances or for the heinous shit that the fundies said and did in previous decades but you can't say anything negative about Islam because that's racist and Islamophobic.

The irony is in the fact that The Handmaid's Tale was written as an allegory for the Iranian Revolution and Sharia Law, but it used Protestant Christianity as a stand-in to make it more relevant to 1980's America since the Religious Right was starting to gain steam under Reagan and your average American likely knew very little about Islam back then since this was before the Internet and before 9/11.

Bush was a phony Christian and phony cowboy

He bought that ranch in 1999 and sold it as soon as he could. He had a big ass farm but no pigs, chickens or cattle...just burned brush for the camera and rode his bike around in gay pink tight pants.

The mans favorite food was baloney sandwiches.

He was a total fraud whos handlers created his image. He only went to church if a camera was there and now comfortably lives in a gated community of Dallas with the wealthy

Carter was an actual man of faith and legit peanut farmer.
I don't buy this take, just based on a lot of the tertiary documents we have about Bush and his life. The fake cowboy thing is true enough, Bush was actually our first NEET president, having spent damn near a decade of his life failing in management positions and being unemployed. Calling the religious thing a front doesn't make a whole lot of sense, because he pretty consistently credited god for anything that he was successful in doing, starting with kicking his booze habit.

Believe it or not, this isn't the first adaptation. There was a movie back in the eighties.
That adaptation was a lot "better." Not like it was that good either. I got the impression the TV program was produced as propaganda for mi abuela Hilary's regime. You do know that they're called PROGRAMS, right?

I wouldn't go that far, but how about we call it a general term: Political Derangement Syndrome. Wherein an opposing political side goes as far to demonize and slander the winning side for anything without any sort of basis in reality or rational thought whatsoever.
Nixon Derangement Syndrome is still a thing among older boomers.

Two years, dozens of lawsuits and who knows how many subpoenas later, and Deutsche Bank finally revealed in court that they never even had Trump's tax returns to begin with. Thanks for playing!

Fuck that's a swan isn't it
Wouldn't it be stuff regarding the Trump Organization and not Trump personally? I doubt Trump went into the DB loan office and personally came out with a big bag of cash. Isn't DB actually in big trouble for being a vector for drug dealers to launder their money, anyway?
You can solve any health crisis if you kill enough people. Allah willing.
Rudolf did nothing wrong.

The site wordfilters "shitty" to "lovely," by the way. I love the denialism about everything in the event, including insulting Minnesota.

Amazing how willing they are to throw an entire state under the bus just because it has enough people in it to make one Trump rally successful.

It's not like that's how they lost the last election or anything.

anyone tell these clowns street fights just like this are why the Nazis came to power?

Scared the straights into supporting them for protections

I feel like he wanted to be president but he was surrounded by yes men who did much of the thinking for him.
Actually there was a movie made back in the late 1990's starring Natasha Richardson as a handmaid and Robert Duval as the rich impregnator. She did end up getting pregnant but Duval wasn't the father. Hee, hee, hee.

To this day people still blame Reagan for everything from the crack epidemic to AIDS. SDI, dubbed "Star Wars" by critics, was supposedly going to lead to nuclear war.
I remember in high school, one of my classmates came in the day after Reagan was elected. She was hysterical. She kept stating, through tears, that Reagan was going to outlaw birth control and make women wear long dresses again to keep their ankles covered. She's still liberal to this day and still spouts off gibberish (nowadays it's on FB, not a school hallway) about what is going to happen now that Trump is president. Some people never learn.

He was a failure at being a president too, say what you want about Bush but at least he didn't have wide spread gas lines.

Carter is considered a traitor here because he and his foundation pretty much legitimized Chavez during one of his election, iirc he just took the shekels and bailed, after Chavez died his organization refuses to come here for anything so yeah i also believe he was a failure

Given how most of them don't know about world history before 1990, I don't think they're aware (Which is forgivable because the history taught in schools suck ass)

Another side of me thinks that there may be a small minority of people that are aware of that fact and are doing this shit anyway to go balls deep into accelerationism to force history to repeat itself so then they actually can say the Nazis are back and can thusly justify their own sad existences

That's what I think is their mindset anyway

I credit him being the son of a president. Had he been anyone elses kid he would of been valet parking or Toys R Us stockboy most of his life

Well in his defense they are very very close to shutting it down. Quite a few trials are underway that make the virus dormant and harmless....

Now once thats cured im sure some sort of lethal mutated syphilis will take its place or something.

Nature has a funny way of replacing what humans cure...like it knows what we are trying to do

>packed with paid bodies

Okay why do people keep regurgitating this MSM headline? And where has some skeptic debunked it already?

Imagine implying that Trump even has the time to pay so many people.

"a dying and unimportant state"

Oh dear me, isn't that the state Ilhan Omar is from?

My my, how racist.
What I love the most about that little outburst is that Minnesota has been a solid Blue State for literally half a century at this point.
The last time it went Red was 1972 for Richard Nixon.
That's the longest Blue streak in the nation besides D.C.
But now it looks like it'll go over to Voldertrump so its' "dying and unimportant" now.
It may just be the rantings of some bitter douchebag on SA but this really shows why the Dems are fucked next year.
No loyalty or concern that their former strongholds are slipping away just empty manichean rage against the Enemy.
Besides "dying and unimportant"?
Residents of California shouldn't throw stones.
