D$P's entire life for over a decade has been structured around his YT videos. He calls YT a mere archive of his streams, but performs dedicated intros for these videos often repeating what he had just said on the stream. Streaming is a major component in the making of his videos in that the chat is his On-demand FAQ. Additionally, I am of the opinion that D$P has come to derive his self worth from said YT vids as well as his daily streams. Contributions can be normal or even higher than normal, but if the audience numbers are low he's make mention that "stream attendance was low." D$P needs there to be a certain number of people out there watching his content. He won't stop streaming. He needs the validation of knowing he has 'fans'. He's like that person you may know that collects Facebook friends because they need to have a higher number than their other friends.
He was a CSR. He was basically the person behind the counter at AutoZone. What other work would they have given him? He had to be there by the phone to answer it. What work could he have done at home? Did they forward the company service line to his condo after hours? He wants us to believe he worked while he was sick? The guy who is completely incapacitated by a cold for a week?
This exactly. Mrs. D$P may not care. I don't see her having that much of a vested interest in his financial situation other than maintaining her new standard of living for a couple of years so she can then divorce him and take him to the cleaners. His parents, on the other hand, would be another story. This said, I don't believe for a second that his account is overdrawn every month. He has been consistently growing on Twitch: Tips Aug 2017 $1180, Aug 2018 $3049, Aug 2019 $5327. His Twitch sub numbers keep growing and by way of this attract new eyes to his streams. Twitch sub goals are now 600+. J2k put him on the scent of bringing in thousands more a month via his $100/stream daily tip goal ($100x2)x6=$1,200 a week/ $4,800 a month in tips alone. This doesn't count the streams he exceeds the $100 goal or those given offline. Listening to what he said during the Quartering interview, it is my contention that he is pushing hard for funds in order to pay down ALL his debt ( including mortgages ) as fast as possible. The ConnDough might be underwater, but the WahKhando is worth close to double what he bought it for. He then would then be in a position to sell one or both properties:

He's been repeatedly bringng up Texas with it's lack of a personal income tax, lower cost of living AND lower business taxes.
A stream viewer asked about that. D$P obviously thought this to be a grand idea. He decided, however, that this could be more profitable if done on a stream with more people in attendance. Thus, while he had people in the chat right then willing to spend money to name a wax decoration he went for door number two. Akin to Aesop's Dog, D$P may well have dropped the bone he had for what he sees as being a bigger one during his upcoming PUBG stream.
