Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

The rehabilitation of Reagan is odd because nearly everyone hated Reagan towards the end of his second term, conservatives included.

And most leftists actually dislike Obama, especially if they're informed about healthcare policy. A bunch of sketchy shit was going on in the courts because of his judicial appointments. Pharma reps being able to advertise off-label use to physicians due to the first amendment, etc. So honestly the whole "lol libruls worship obummer" thing just seems like projection.

Most leftists I know with an actual iota of political sense dislike him for that, but I know plenty that dislike him because he tried to play softball. When you compare Obama to the current crop of 'New Democrats', he was much closer to the center.

EDIT (to better explain my point): Obama was very hawkish compared to most of the 'New Democrats', who tend to have a lukewarm to negative opinion of aggressive foreign policy. He was also much more willing to 'reach out' across the aisle and attempt to compromise (though he rarely succeeded in this, and usually resorted to brute forcing legislation into law).

Unironically just reposting said Ben Garrison comic...

Could it be ive got literally no opinions but what the tv people tell me to think? No, it's everyone else in a hugbox, I'm very well informed.

This thread is a wonderful demonstration of liberal smugness and projections. Also rarely you get a decent dig in.

Quick now, the three of you better get to circlejerking on @Cosmos profile page about how it's everyone else in a hugbox, after you cry about different opinions. Then probably smugly condescend about Trump supporters and their impure motives.

Hi @Senior Lexmechanic and @The Last Stand . Sad to see you haven't gotten a&h deleted yet, keep at it though, probably a little more crying about ratings will convince Null of how right you are.

Love, Sergio XOXO

Lol you sped dumbass, the only person who seems obsessed with deleting A&H and its predecessors is Null himself and the only reason he wants to do that is it makes right wingers look like, well, you.

That's one for the history books, lol. "Greatest presidental quote" is Trump shitposting on Twitter as he always do. And hypocritical considering they all kiss Trump's ass 24/7.

Go back to r_TheDonald, /pol/, or whatever autistic Internet corner you came from. Not wise to insult a supervisor either.

So what sock number are we doing on now Corbin? 12?

Now that Trump's actions have lead to ISIS prisoners escaping in Kurdish Syria, I wonder how Trumpers are going to defend that.
"Not our problem", and then blame the Democrats when one of them decides to earn his virgins by sneaking over here and blowing himself up.

Tell me again how Trump's promise of defeating ISIS in 30 days is working out? Proof that USA global policy is self centered unless it's for an agenda for election.

This is how. Like clockwork.

Happy Columbus Day from the_Donald. Carrying disease and taking over claimed land is okay if you're WHITE! Gotcha.

That’s not exclusive the conservatives though. Literally everyone celebrates Columbus Day.

edit: Oh. That post was making fun of the meme, not the holiday. The meme is indeed dumb. Like me. My bad.
My mistake. I should've been more clear with my posting. I'm insulting the meme and the_Donald's logic. All good.

And lol at the MOTI ratings. I'm not even mad.

I don't think it was claimed. The original inhabitants of the Americas were so primitive that they didn't have concepts like land ownership or nationality. They were essentially in the stone age.
Tell that to the Algonquin, Iroquois, Cherokee, Azteca, Tlingit, Apache, Souix, Mohawk...
(fun trivia fact; those last three all are commonly known by the names they gave each other, which all roughly translate as "Enemy")

For reference, this is what a small Cherokee town looked like pre-contact:

Note the similarities to English and Norse settlements during the Middle Ages.

Here's what a trading city looked like (did you know that the Cherokee and Azteca had trade contact with each other?):

I’m gonna be completely honest. For the longest time, I actually did assume they were a bunch of primitive tribes. These pictures kinda make me want to read up on them a bit. Thanks man.

It's easy to get that impression, between the "noble savage" attitude the Left often has towards Indigenous Nations, the fact that the permanent settlements of the "civilized tribes" used wood as their primary building material (leading to most of their buildings being scavenged for lumber post-displacement, leveled to use the cleared area where the city stood for farmland, or simply falling victim to decay), and the fact that most tribes in the lower temperate and tropical zones didn't have elaborate clothing (because it was hot and muggy three seasons out of four, making shirts impractical: look at the traditional dress of Egypt and the Kingdom of Thailand, which are at similar latitudes).
The Cherokee are especially interesting to study because they were one of the only tribes that managed to repeatedly beat more heavily-armed colonial armies through asymmetric warfare, knowledge of the home terrain, and sheer ruthlessness. If you're really interested in a good starting point, the life of Utsidihi Ustanaqua ("Mankiller Bighead") is fascinating. He was a warrior-poet, diplomat, and local warlord (Cherokee settlements had a bicameral government with peace-time and war-time rulers) who helped broker peace between the English and the Cherokee and later fought alongside Tsiyu Gansini (better known as "Dragging Canoe") during the Chikamunga wars. He was even part of the first delegation of the Cherokee to visit London, where he personally met King George III as part of the Cherokee Embassy.

EDIT:
The Turks will take care of that.
The Turks hate the Kurds way more than ISIS.
