Let's hope the appeal judges are not as much of a boomer and exceptional individual like chump.
Assuming the judges don't have a bad case of the lazy like Chupp does, even them being boomer isn't too bad.

They might not understand these newfangled Chinese cartoons or this social media Tweeter thing, but they'll know about defaming a man in public to the point he would've died poor and alone if he hadn't taken action.

I find it hard to believe all 3 of them will have the case of the Chupp. That’s going to be 3 judges.

Though I wonder, would it be the same 3 that have appealed a case from him before?

If that’s the case I’d feel sorry for them, they’d probably be like “fml this lazy bastard again?”

Some of you kickvic drones genuinely puzzle me. Let's pose this incredibly basic question I'm sure none of which you can answer: Why on earth would Vic waste time and money in a lawsuit, he incited, if he was knowingly guilty of several accounts of sexual assault? Why would he do that? Why waste money and time he doesn't have in a suit where if the accusations of the defendants were irrevocably true, they'd easily mark his ass and smite him with said evidence? Never mind the fact that Vic was originally threatened with court by the defendants on a few occasions, and not a single one of them acted on it. Just some food for thought.

The line they tell is basically using Nick's warnings against him. Lawsuits are expensive, and even if you win a defensive lawsuit it can still ruin you by burying you in bills. The idea is that Vic is Scientology, because the GFM money is obviously similar to having billions of dollars to frivolously sue people, and so he's punishing 'survivors' by suing them and using the law to hurt them. The idea is that he was foolish enough not to understand the TCPA, and that this punishment lawsuit is exactly what the TCPA is designed to protect against.

They're going to have some trouble spinning this after TCPA fails, but they'll likely try to run with 'Vic just kept pushing it until he got someone to give him the answer he wanted, it's a miscarriage of justice that it's got this far'. At least until discovery buries the defendants in evidence.

Actually we are in Weeb Wars Z. So this is a whole other story rather than the sad ending of Weeb Wars, the tales of Vic.
Nah anime has moved to seasons, Season 1 ended with The Dread Lord Chupp for All winning..so now Ty and Vic have to go train under the 3 heavenly appealers.

What about Casey? How much booze do you think they split between each other?
Nah, he don’t deserve it after the way he spoke down to Amazon Prime.
Best news I've heard all day. I hope Jamie gets fucked.
Ewwww....that’s an image I don’t need right now.
Reminder: appeals are expensive.

Here's a link to the GFM page so we can watch for changes.

As I type this, the GFM page is currently over $253,100. I think it’s safe to say that the news of Vic appealing has rekindle his supporters’ confidence and that a little shilling is in order.

With any luck we'll get at least one of the judges who wrote the decisions that Chumpp ignored.

THE GRIFT IS ALIVE

I keep seeing the wild KV logic leap from my statement of "we spoke to two different firms before hiring Ty" to "two different attorneys told Vic the case was shit."

No.

Attorney #1 (consulted - never actually hired): "You've definitely got a strong case, but you can't afford it."

Attorney #2 (the one who sent a C&D to Saucedo): "I understand your world is burning at Twitter speed. I'll get that motion filed sometime in the next 2 months-ish."

Exactly zero lawyers told us that the case had no merit. Quite the opposite.
This is literally hate speech and I'm reporting you for having different opinions to people who are super lawyers on Twitter.

Seriously though, where did these claims even come from? Attorneys aren't allowed to disclose what they discussed with their clients, so even if these two DID say "nah, you're fucked" there's no way Law Twitter should know about it, right? All Vic seems to have done here is the disgusting practice of... getting multiple opinions before deciding on a law firm.

Edit: You say "we" and "us", how exactly are you involved in this?

I don't know how many appellate judges there are but it would be even more hilarious if it's the same judges who already overturned Chupp. Chupp's rulings are a comedy of errors and it would be karma to see him slapped down AGAIN by the same people.
