I've noticed that recently, "Free HK" is the new "x says trans rights". I want to believe that these peoples hearts are in the right places, but do they really think Homestuck edits is going to help? I dunno, it just seems like slacktivism to me.

From what I remember, it's to go up against Xi and show support for those fighting against him in Hong Kong. So I wouldn't exactly count this as 'SJW Art'.

edit: and like the guy above said, I wouldn’t really call that “SJW art.” Maybe something more akin to “trend-hopping” art? They won’t care about this for more than a week or two at best. Then it’ll be back to more trans/gay/buttfuck pride.

Ah, I see, I see. But at least in my eyes, slacktivism is a VERY sjw like action. Same with the art. "Oh, I support the LGBT community. I slap pride flags on ALL the characters. I support POC people. I make ALLLL white characters non white. I support (insert cause here). I draw ALLLLLL my characters (insert horrible misrepresentation or stereotype).

Ugh, this shit annoys me to no end.

This is less about sjw art and more so about well known online artists, why do they devolve?
I give vikisigh as an example of how her anatomy has gone to shit, and how she has just devolved her 'style' into a copy cat of vaccum's work. To the extent that I can't even tell the difference but only by the fact I still enjoy vacum's subject matter.

It also about how there are so many loish copy cats, why do people just draw the same shit over and over again? I think that it does the opposite of making you an artist, you become a fax machine
