Yeah, they were pretty clearly meant to be specifically the WBC. Like I think the idea was to depict "rural hicks" getting slaughtered but they based them on the most obvious representative of that as kind of a safety measure.

Though it's not like the movie is exactly unbalanced, it has Obama's head exploding into patriotic confetti as a rather exultant part of the climax of the movie.

The chief problem with Congressional term limits is that you will end up with special interest groups running wild and openly running things on a level even worse than now; since they will latch onto every rookie class of Congressmen wave after wave after wave when the previous class term limit out, as far as "helping them with the job" and offering them "pre-written bills" and loading their staff with special interest cronies who will control everything they do.

As opposed to what we've got now, where these people have stayed in office so long that many of them have actually overseen and helped along the creation of many of those special interest groups? Hell the long-term planning aspect of congress without term limits means these people set up plans to force companies to create lobbyists that the congress fucks won't even be getting kickbacks from for another decade while the buildings get built and the meetings get scheduled. The whole "opioid crisis" issue is basically an excuse to set the pharmaceutical companies up to be their paypigs like the tobacco companies are now, they're setting themselves up for the next fifty years of perfunctory fines, lobbyists, and back room deals with most of them expecting themselves to be there for that whole run. I'd rather risk a little bit of grooming going on amongst the more pliant and impressionable of whoever gets in there than watch government continue to turn into an insular industry of its own.
