His life would probably be a lot more enjoyable if he stopped sticking to this autistic stream schedule and just played whatever the fuck he actually felt like playing each day. He wouldn’t get into these dragon quest builders 2 situations where he’s been playing it for like 4 months because he likely would’ve played it more when it first launched, but instead he makes this dumb schedule and plays this juggling act with games because he
1.) doesn’t actually enjoy playing games so it’s just a spreadsheet of work to him
2.) is apparently terrified that if he isn’t constantly mixing up what game he plays every damn day his audience is going to get bored of his miserable ass

It’s just incredible, I’ve never seen someone who streams as consistently and often as DSP do this stupid shit, they play games until they beat them and move on to another, maybe sometimes throwing in a comfort game they love every few days. I’ve never seen another streamer play musical chairs with games this calculatedly

According to DSP, fighting games were completely dead for a decade until 2008 when SF4 came out.

Also, DSP claimed that he sucked at the initial bosses of Sekiro, but by the time he finished Sekiro he had mastered the parry system and beat the final boss "in record time."

DSP saying that people are pissed off that he didn't play the Soulsborne clones like Remnant, Surge 2, Code Vein, and one more he couldn't remember and they are upset that he didn't rage at them. Apparently Soulsborne games are dead according to DSP. He is throwing a temper tantrum right now.

DSP has convinced himself that if he plays a game all the way through, then he would lose audience that aren't interested in that game and they won't come back. That's why he's a "variety streamer" that plays like 6 different games at once.

I remember he got mad because people didn't get ad excited as he thought they should be when he beat the game.

They weren’t completely dead, but many see SF4 as a massive revival for the genre

Well you should because there’s definite truth to it, everything about the pre streams is his massively stalling, to the point that he does it so long he needs a bathroom break before starting games(using the can should be a chore to do while the pre stream is going, not a chore as a result of your pre streams length)

Jesus he gets asked about playing Dead Island and he goes into a spergfest about other streamers doing better then him because their streams are "more shiny"

Does he not realize other streamers even with ~10 viewers use green screens and "shiny" stuff to make their streams stand out and they never ever get nearly as big as he is? He really does live in a bubble.

I always enjoy the rant about other people getting advanced or review copies when he has got them multiple times.

They made Lords of the Fallen and that game triggered the shit out of him badly. He's never gonna play another game by that company.

I do love this more recent retcon hes been trying to stick with for the last year or so that all his old content was just him acting, and his cooking videos were him intentionally making bad food.

Yup, he wasn’t just always a toxic loud asshole, that was his act for the camera, it’s definitely not his true personality that constantly seeps into every aspect of his life. He’s matured!(despite becoming a paranoid shut in later in life....something that would most definitely deteriorate whatever maturity he might have had....)

That's one of my favorite Phil-isms. When he insists how mature he is now and then moments later does that whiny child voice as an impression of anyone challenging him.
I would think anyone who spoke to me like that at 37 is emotionally stunted at about 12.

I just tuned in and he's acting very grumpy and having autistic slapfights with chat. Anything going on in particular, or has he just hit the gin a bit too hard last night?

-EDIT- Lol, someone just cheered, asking him why he's so sad today and if something's going on. He said "No, I'm fine! I'm enjoying Sonic!" and started humming along with the game music, but it seemed very forced.

Wtf is going on? Bad news yesterday on one of his "appointments"?

Technically he already does this. He can't stand 90% of the stuff he plays and undoubtedly has to force himself out of bed just to get chatpooled through his daily "work" schedule. Just because 10k a month isn't a lot of munneh to DSP on account being a mongoloid (it's not a slur it's a medical term!) doesn't mean it's not a lot of money.

It's just as well that his dream of getting paid a set wage by twitch based on performance/merely clocking in isn't a reality because even they would probably fired him by now if it's how they ran their business.

he's perhaps angry that jeff got doxed, we know they talk behind the scenes and his biggest whale being in trouble could be sending him spiraling down, jeff getting doxed might cause jeff to donate less in phils eyes

Kat forced him to get physical activity by walking around.

He started the prestream talking about shooting pains in his leg and back from all the errands he had to run yesterday.
