Around 2008 there was this chip brand called Flat Earth that was a spin-off under the Frito Lay umbrella that made "healthy" vegetable chips and stuff. Well they had these Wild Berry Patch chips that were really, really tasty. I miss them a lot.

I second this, this shit was good. One day I want to make a homemade version.

I'm now just reminded how much I miss the green skittles being lime flavored. I don't mind the apple taste, but honestly I prefer citrus at all times.

maybe it is a regional thing I used the store locator and it says they have livewire but at a different walmart that's a 30 minutes drive away from the one close to me
Code Red and quite a few other variants are made; stores just choose if they want to stock it.

I truly loathe the green apple flavored Skittles. I used to keep one of the FUCK HEUG 54 oz. bags of Skittles in my desk at work, but after they made the switch I quit buying Skittles in totality. I buy almond Snickers or Reese's Pieces now for work time snacking.

As for other shit I miss:

These fried fuckers. I missed them so much after I moved from the south. They were a staple of my diet for years. A 75¢ pie and a coke for a buck and a quarter. I heard a few years ago that the factory where they made them in New Orleans burned to the ground, and it still hasn't been rebuilt.

These suckers were a staple treat in elementary school, and it sucks, since I remember them being stupid good.

Only had these a few times, but they were like those tube water cookies. I liked them, at least.

And then there's THIS yummy shit.

I miss angus burgers from fast food joints. I don't even care if they came from McDonalds, they didn't make me feel bloated and they were alright, even if it was the stuff from the gristle.

I loved the "Pizza Mia" pepperoni pizzas that Pizza Hut had back in the late 2000's.

Other classics I miss from back when I was a kid are Sprite Remix, Lunchables Pizza, Juicy Juice, and Donald Duck orange juice.

They might still make Donald Duck orange juice, but if they do, the stores where I live don't carry it.

I loved Juicy Juice and Lunchables as a kid, and while I'm sure both are still being made, I'm a little too old for Lunchables.

Ok, here's a weird one. It's not a specific thing in the sense of being something you could only get at one chain, or a limited time offering, or anything like that. It's just something that is getting to be hard to find in general.

Pizza with anchovies.

Now, now, I'm sure y'all can find plenty of places that still offer it. Smaller artisan type places and such, some of those do. But none of the big nation-wide chains do. Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Ceasers, Papa Johns, etc. Papa Johns (as awful as their pizza is) was the last place that did, but now all they offer is to sell you a can of anchovies, and you can put them on your pizza at home. Which is not the same as them being baked on the pizza with the cheese, damn it.

Jet's does, but outside of three or four states in the northern middle of the country Jet's are pretty rare.

I get it, I get it, you probably don't sell many pies with anchovies. But they keep, like... forever. It doesn't hurt you to keep some around in the event someone wants them.

Someone probably already mentioned this but I'm throwing my hat in because I haven't had a Wonka bar in years and sadly found out they were discontinued in 2010! Fudge! However, thankfully these Wonka bars were made with milk chocolate and graham crackers which shouldn't be impossible to put together with a Hershey chocolate bar and Honey Maid graham crackers. It's one of the most common foods to eat at a camp fire, with marshmallows..

They used to make peppermint patty bites.

Also I miss the Wonder Ball.

I do NOT miss flavored ketchup

Two of my favourite crisp flavours when I was a kid

There was also a company that did some kick ass pickled onions back in the day but they shut down a while a go. Gone are the days where little bad ass would be picking that stuff out of the Jar with a fork.

I prefer my anchovies on the side, so I can rinse off the excess salt and oil before placing it on my pizza.

See, this is the type of shit that makes nobody like anchovies. They should be rinsing them off before they go on the pizza. It only takes a second.

And I'm sorry, "cold and laying on top" is not how a pizza topping should be. Imagine if they gave you a pouch of cold pepperoni and expected you to just lay that on top.

Just be one of those assholes that says you are allergic to the brine BUT you can magically eat it once it is washed (never mind trace amounts)

The best ones are people that say they are allergic to everything and then proceed to eat from every other guests plate. Or insist that they can just pick it off and survive. Bitch that ain't no allergy then
