What's killing me is that in Europe, she's obviously over a size 20 because she's an adult that's not a skeleton. She's probably a 36-38.

Excess skin removal is not that big of an issue. I mean, it’s not risk-free and it’s not cheap but it’s not like cancer or organ transplantation. If people can get through cancer without killing themselves, you can survive plastic surgery. JFC, we live in an era where people can get their dicks chopped off and turned into a skin fleshlight and no one bats an eye. Soon they’ll be giving out coupons for sex change surgery with a magazine subscription. What’s a little skin removal next to that.

At the end of the day, the loose skin is there whether you lose the fat or not. It’s just filled with fat. And even if you don’t want to go under the knife, it’s still worth losing the weight for better health and mobility.

It looks like this article is implying only certain demographics (re: fat goddesses) get to listen to Lizzo. I think it’s ridiculous. Also, the US is majority white and has around a 50% female population in any given area. Just by those statistics alone, it’s very easy to see why a lot of white women would be at a Lizzo concert. Obesity is less common in younger age groups as well and Lizzo appeals to young audiences. Why can’t these people think of what other factors there are in events before posting this idpol garbage?
