Yes, that's right. LoK officially kills the souls of Aang and every previous avatar to sever the franchise from its older, more beloved incarnation create pathos and a motivation for the vibrant Person of Color MC to show off how awesome she is via Evangelion Death Beam Battle.

It isn't ENOUGH to establish a new franchise in line with Tumblresque conceptions of the world. They MUST murder what went before. They must hunt it down in a back alley, shoot it in the head, and kick it after its dead, like any group of tyrannical droogs would. Since they can't do it to their enemies (yet,) they'll do it to their enemies' most beloved characters and works of art.

I have to wonder, what are they reshooting (if the rumors are true) because the leaks overall look to be pretty accurate so not that much can change. I'm also wondering how you could even squeeze out (the rumored) 6 cuts of the film, I don't see much to work with here unless any given cut has a very substantial amount of deleted scenes.

My guess is she still looks like a bum because of Carrie Fischer's death. They needed to reuse stuff from VII via CGI because someone in the booth convinced them using her physical corpse was completely immoral. That's likely why Rey hasn't changed, so those scenes seem less jarring on screen.

To this day I sit here and try to figure out what went wrong with punk. I think the issue was its status as a 'counterculture' convinced everyone involved to go further left as society became more liberal. I still remember seeing Gorilla Biscuits getting called able-ist for using terms synonymous with exceptional individual. Really sent them all of the deep-end as they forgot that punk wasn't supposed to be one of those life brand things.

In regards to this trailer... wow. The scene with the emo dialogue was fantastic. Almost funnier than Anakin murdering Tusken Raiders. The way Ren entered made it feel like the start to a high school emo flick.

I wish 3PO had just looked at R2 and Chewie. That scene was sad just because he had to say that in front of people who haven't even talked to him on screen.

Shocked to see Rose didn't get erased from the movie as well. Good for her I guess.
hope the Slug guy pushes her out of frame at some point and its the last time we see her. Would be funny.

My personal favorite scene was the horses. It reminds me of one of the best gamer moments I've ever seen:
16:02 if it failed to embed there. If they include "they're giving us one last display of brute force, let's show them one last act of courage" before the cavalry charge I will clap.

Here's an earlier leak from June with some inaccuracy in some parts and accuracy in others.
Notably, it seems those were partially right because of the droid factory references, as we can see in this pic from the new trailer that shows us a Battle Droid (far right corner with its head down):

So Bad Robot and the others mentioned may also be in it. Its possible the June leak was completely true at one point but was probably a victim of the reshoots.
