Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

There is 0% chance his penis has been inside another (living) human.
Well....he has a wife and she seems supportive of his ... content. Although someone spotted that they sleep in separate beds in a picture they posted of a hotel room. No clue what he does, but he seems well off with financially

Fuck me what a joke of a trailer. I openly began to cough/laugh when they showed that awful hugging scene with Carrie Fisher's corpse, because it was such an empty and obvious attempt to grab your heart strings. That and Threepio doing his fake-out death line was so fucking terrible.

Am I the only one that noticed that the music is off tune and fairly underplayed for what Disney and Abrams are trying to sell this film as? Because it doesn't feel triumphant or as something that "culminates nine movies (barf)"; it sounds very bog standard.

It's also really funny to watch the absolutely dead faces and lack of chemistry between Driver and Ridley. Both blank faced, both wielding sticks of neon. It was almost as funny as the part where it gave the impression the two broke a Darth Vader statue given the quick frame of them breaking something. It was very much a spiritual representation of how hard Disney killed this franchise, and it also represents how dead this movie really is.
Fight between Kylo and Rey (as if we don't know who is going to win that fight) looks like it will be the same quality as the one last time. Notice how Adam Driver goes in late with the one handed block? 1:06 - He goes from two handing his sword to this awkward throwing of his left hand so he can block the strike. Those two really don't seem to be able to time their swings right.

Shocking leak spoilers, Rey wins the fight

The thing is, as much as I rail on the guy for clearly being mentally unstable when it comes to his obsession with Star Wars... I think he might be an okay guy otherwise. I mean, you can't judge him by his shilling alone.

It would be weird if it were their home bedroom but I wouldn't read much into a hotel room. That's a common fuck-up during booking or it may have been all the hotel had left.

Finn -- as many of us here posted -- had so much potential before he was relgated as the token black comedy relief guy. As much as these celebrities are encouraged to be woke and promote on-screen diversity, I wonder if it bothers any of them on a personal level to be cast in such shitty, tokenizing roles even if they're paid handsomely for it and can't ever admit their frustrations on the record.

Fun fact: Stepin Fetchitt was the first black actor to save more than one million dollars over his career.

Well, I went to bed and all Hell broke loose.
It's beautiful, everyone. This shitshow is going to be thermonuclear.

Exogol confirmed.

Exogol should become a term referring to when something just goes so full on exceptional that you have to wonder what the fuck the people behind the franchise were thinking.

I remember The X-Files, The Matrix and even Lost were all once held up as the successors to the throne, but all those franchises flamed out and things went full circle back to Star Wars and Star Trek.

Lost especially makes me laugh with that comparison looking back because the moment that show ended no one gave a shit afterward and now almost a decade later no one continues to give a shit, there's zero nostalgia.

I wonder if Warner Brothers had hoped Blade Runner 2049 would lead to Blade Runner becoming a long running franchise? That had potential but 2049 just wasn't a big enough hit, which is too bad.

Hell, Star Gate ran for what? 10 seasons and had 2 spin offs?
Stargate was the fucking tits. Was absolutely better than Star Trek and only faggots prefer space communism over MacGyver murdering space egyptians

DS9 was damn good though.

People like to talk about how science fiction has been diddled to death but I can think of several franchises that survived off the top of my head
Stargate died because of creator autism in regards to Universe and has so far escaped continuation
BSG died because of a writers strike and has so far escaped remake
Farscape ended with a cliffhanger turned into a movie and nobody has the balls to try to do anything with that giant ball of Crichton tier insanity
Firefly was a cavalcade of fuckups and will never come back since Serenity also flopped (thank God since modern Whedon is insufferable)
Babylon 5 faded into obscurity and will never be big enough to get off the ground again
And Sliders was only good when it had John Rhys Davies in it

So there are still some properties out there to still enjoy since they're safely dead and never coming back.

Really, the argument could be made we need a new sci fi franchise to take the mantle of big nerd obsession, Star Wars and Star Trek had their day.

Something like Mass Effect, which I thought was a very clever blend of Star Wars and Star Trek, of course that franchise too was ruined, but you get my point.
Unofficial Kiwi Farms donut steal Science Fantasy Setting when?

It's not going to be the next nerd obsession obviously, but I already started it. pm me if you like sci-fi worldbuilding and want in.
