To see so many people getting hung up over a hug, not groping, not kissing, and not a sexual joke but a hug. Whether its consensual or not is pretty damn sad. I fear for humanity in the next few years.

Well, he's not making fun of it. He's just stating the sad reality of it all. I don't understand why these people want to make non consensual hugs a fucking crime. They're just hugs. Typically a person doesn't have an intent to harm you with a simple hug. A lot of time would be wasted if a VA went down their line of fans asking each and every single person, "May I hug you?" Not only is this incredibly stupid, it is completely irrelevant. If you see a VA hug fans before it is your turn it is okay to say "I don't want a hug" or "I don't want to be touched". You'd be surprised by how many people will respect your boundaries after you make them aware of what your boundaries are. Also there's a thing called body language too...

Also, good to see JYB as one of the good ones. I'm a big fan of his work as well. He voices a lot of my favorites. The other VAs should take a look at him as an example of how to treat the public
during a controversy. You can be kind and respectable in all this! Most importantly, you can still treat your fans like human beings!

To be fair, VAs like Sabat seem to struggle with boundaries. Can't blame them for not respecting things they don't understand!

JDF tried to apologize for his actions years later, because he realized it wasn't "Christ-like". He "begged" for his forgiveness, and Yost told him to fuck off. I can't say I blame him, but JDF appeared to at least try to make amends, which I can respect.

I didn't know Yost told him to fuck off but I can respect that too. They've done panels together so I thought they were cool.

When a man (and production staff) harrass you to the point that you go to Mexico and check yourself into a conversion camp it's understandable that you can't forgive them.

They are just repeating J's story from the ANN article. That's where the whole hugrape thing started. A posed picture with Vic and someone who waited in line to have a picture taken with him. The proof of how stressful this was to her is a blurred out picture.

Here is something that people in the entertainment industry need to realise, they need to band together, stop what they are doing and take out the fucking trash, these mob fuckers do divide and conquer, after Vic is done, they will go after someone else until people have gotten enough or if the industry is destroyed beyond repair. Many VA's don't understand that this mess will affect them sooner or later and while there are Secret supporters of Vic, it's clear that few have the balls to step up or go nuclear.

On the flipside I will say that #Metoo fuckwards are at least smart enough only go after one person at the time because they know it's clear that they will get stomped if people band together.

I don't know if Yost and JDF made up after that, as admittedly this happened over 15 years back, but as I said I can't exactly say I blame Yost for his response, even then.
