I know this conversation might seem to be getting a little off-topic, but I think it's important that we establish the differences between troons and gay people, because even back when I sided with troons (long ago lmao), I didn't agree with them being lumped with gay and bisexual people.

Gay people don't need other people to validate their gayness in order to be gay, because it's an internal thing. People have been gay throughout history no matter how secretive they had to be about it. Wanting to fuck the same sex isn't something you need other peoples' approval to do. For troons however, validation is a central aspect of their identity. They need everyone else around them to call them different names and pronouns, to allow them into women's restrooms, to compliment their appearance, etc. Gay people just want people to leave them alone and let them fuck/marry, but troons want people to cow-tow to their every whim. They want the state to pay for their surgeries, they want lesbians and straight men to fuck them, they want new bathrooms installed, they want to put kids on horse pills, and they want people to accept the idea of a "feminine penis".

I think it speaks volumes that a lot of TERFs are lesbians and bisexual women. Troons aren't just annoying the shit out of straight people, they're annoying the shit out of queer people, too.

Just the consistently cute and expressive art puts it miles ahead what Labelle and Bri manage to shit out but also writting is pretty solid. There are ranty comics, SWJish comis and gross comics sure but plenty of actually funny comics. He makes fun of his own insecurities, how his life has changed and having a male body but doing lady things. He doesn’t portray being a tranny that horrible or that great, mostly just normal life with some more unique challenges. Often but always when he does comics about gross stuff he does them by using visual metaphors so they aren’t that gross. His generally does come pretty reasonable and sane. He is the gay kind of tranny and as asian man does pass better than an average troon, so might play a part.

Here is another set side by side, one is 1 month HRT, the other is 15 months HRT. But it is possible to narrow the shoulders, though it isn't common as of yet. It is called a clavicular reduction osteotomy, it can narrow the shoulder width by almost 1 1/2 inches (~2 cm per side).

Specific mechanisms are different, sure. BPD is certainly disheveled in their sense of self but they still latch onto something unrealistic. BPD in general are incredibly unstable people but that’s why they cling to unhealthy relationships and falsely constructed ideas of ego, they need to feel like what they believe in can be true to an overwhelming degree.

Where a narcissist may need to feel like their false sense of self is innate and perfect and flawless, BPD match onto a false sense of self to believe a train wreck can still be wonderful and perfect and fixed and do great things.
