Those are a lot better. You can even sound like an actual human, not some Stephen Hawking robot thing. Even Hawking could have sounded more normal, but he kept the old style voice because it had become a trademark. It would still sound better than some nasty, gurgling, half-dead creature.

Of course, Lemoine actually relies on that to get people to rule in his favor out of pity and disgust. People just want the croaking creature that makes them queasy and uncomfortable to go away. He's like the scummy lawyer Michael J. Fox plays in The Good Wife who exploits his disability for asspats and favorable rulings.

Think about how Yaniv gets off on making people physically uncomfortable. The power that it gives him over people to make them do things and get away with bullshit that a normal person would get their teeth realigned for doing or saying.

I see Lemwaaah as similar. They get off on this. It's why he can never shut the fuck up about it, or in general.

I lean towards the idea that the appeals court will just say "do this again. Correctly this time." Chupp made such a mess that unraveling it would be madness.

But the appeals court might be able to sort the mess.
