I know, that would be terrible, but reading about the sudden MVP made my heart (haha) sink just because I am a little familiar with this condition. I got the impression that she did not have a heart murmer until recently, or was it just not caught in previous exams? I think it is an aortic dissection that can suddenly kill her with Marfan. MVP is something that you can have without knowing, but maybe her heart weakened because of a hidden ED and made it worse? I am really grasping here, though. I am curious whether she has lost weight or was always skinny. I don't like to jump to anorexia just because she is thin.

It's so hard to figure out these girls' actual medical histories. Between the unreliable self-reporting, delusion, exaggeration, outright fabrication, self-induced conditions, and the fact that they doctor-shop until they find a shitty doctor who will cater to them . . . who even knows whether she had a heart murmur before, or what her weight history is.

apparently she has allergic reactions to every kind of formula so she can’t use her GJ tube to get nutrition. She also can’t eat orally for the same reason. However, she was hospitalized a month ago and she was able to tolerate food by mouth somehow and they took away most of her meds AND got her to walk. She claims to be bedbound when she’s home. If she was truly bedbound, her legs would be atrophied and she wouldn’t be able to walk around the hospital while she was inpatient. Oddly enough, she didn’t have any reactions while in the hospital.

She has a portable oxygen concentrater. Those aren't cheap, and often insurance wont cover them without serious need. Given the GFM I bet she paid out of pocket with an RX.

I work in Pulmonary; O2 tanks require a 6 min walk, PFT, and destat. PFTs can be faked, but you have to really know what your doing. Some doctors will issue PRN oxygen for shits and giggles but often insurance wont cert them and the DME will say no. We have seen an upswing I patients using their CPAP all the time thinking it cures there SOB. (Hint; it doesn't). Come back when you have lungs filled with fluid and talk about SOB.

Everyone knows it's hugely expensive and always in ridiculously short supply, and its quantity will always be limited by the number of people who have the time and inclination to donate/sell plasma. How are doctors not extremely vigilant about saving it for when it's needed???

You're referring to Juju, right? Just wanted to check because we had three new ones introduced all at once and I'm not sure I'm keeping them straight haha. Her parents' home is valued at $634,000, and she's an only child, so I'm assuming they're pouring a lot of money into her "treatment." Her parents seem like genuinely good and interesting people, and I feel kind of bad now for linking their daughter here, especially because I don't doubt that she really is suffering (albeit from anxiety and migraines) . . . but damn is she over-the-top. Not to mention spreading garbage misinformation about tick-borne illness.

Yeah he was out of line, but I see how many times she uses the word "attack" and give her story the side eye. If she is telling us an accurate account of the conversation, then I would 100% tell him to fuck off. The ladies coming to her defense could mean that he really was being offensive. I don't think it ever a good idea to green light an inquiry of "can I ask you a personal question?" from a complete stranger on public transport , either, but she isn't the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.

It’s a fucking gold mine in here today, it does feel like Christmas came early. The munchie crying over losing her pain meds because her fat ass took up a hospital bed for what seems to be quite a long time might be my favourite from this new lot, admittedly had a cackle over that. The oxygen thief girl is an interesting one and obviously puts in a shit ton of effort, bloody hell. I reckon she’ll produce some consistent milk, especially with those staged photos she’s got going on...fucking gold right there. Great finds!

Anyway, the only oxygen I know of that’s used for anything remotely close to air hunger in the absence of low sats is comfort oxygen for pain? That’s severe pain though, and actual severe pain you’d probably be inpatient for - not 50/10 “severe” munchie pain.

Imagining how much some of these girls must doctor shop to be able to get this shit makes my head spin, haha. Although (and feel free to rate me as mad at the internet on this one because I am) seeing them waste plasma products gets me. There are genuine patients legitimately missing out on their IVIg infusions or having to set them back by up to weeks at a time because of the shortages, makes me want to smack these fucking selfish bitches through the screen.

This girl has been in and out of the hospital so much recently I have whiplash. She treats every day like the hospital is her personal playground. She probably worries me the most because it's blatently obvious that she is creating emergencies as she has done in the past and will continue to do so for the most attention possible. Another munchie who forgoes a nose hose and goes straight for a surgical tube before seeing if they can tolerate formula (although looks like she’s tolerating it a little too well, hah). It’s such a huge red flag for me, surely no doctor would do that if they’re unsure if the patient could even tolerate formula? Curious as to what they actually must really be saying to these doctors while shopping for their toobs.

I’ve been waiting for Rebellious to appear. I’ve been grabbing screen shots for nearly 2 years now! I’m just lazy as hell to make a timeline. She’s gone from saying she’s not taking any steroids, the weight gain is swelling. It’s very clear her weight gain is steroid induced. She is NOT consistent with anything. I attached screenshots. Also claimed to be paralyzed in the past - but over the summer she was removed from meds, forced to walk inpatient. Has cried wolf that healthcare isnt fair — acting as a crusader for the CI community and claims she’s being an advocate. Is that to distract from her inconsistencies?
ETA: I’ve been a long time lurker - never made an account. Just reading. But I feel like I have a lot to contribute to Rebellious Story. Kate Farms Shall loves her Anorexic Skinwalker. Obviously I’m not to KFS level of sleuthing because I’m lazy.
I genuinely think REBELLIOUS STORY is such a danger to herself. The lengths she’s going to. Illness is her identity.

If she thinks her appearance is mast cell swelling, she’s delusional. She’s got Cushing weight gain. She’s abusing steroids.

ETA: she’s admitted oral steroids aren’t working and is on IV steroids in PMs she said she was only taking steroids after reactions. Her appearance says otherwise.

ETA 2: she purchased an oxygen concentrator of Amazon. I believe the same one Tara had. It is not one that is given by DME, home health or insurance.

Genuinely believe anelise is going to die within the next year or so. Eating disorder is definitely having an effect on her now. Not to mention she's definitely ripping her lines out. It's kind of sad to watch somebody harm themselves this much and there's nothing doctors can really do to stop them.
